Roger sent this to me today William, he said he Spoke with a Mary (who was a Willetts whose grandmother was a Swain)! She thinks the Coxproperties in "back on the wood" in Southport, NOT Mill Creek. Told me to wear boots and jeans and I might find the old Swain grave sites on a dirt road off Rt 211 in Southport.
I will keep you posted.

Thanks so very much for the upload of Ann's headstone.
I just came across it this morning.
It is interesting that she also was the Granddaughter of John B. Price's grandmother. Sept 1862
I have no parents for Ann. Do you happen to know the line of progession to John B Price?
I assume her Mother was a Price and she married Bell? The Mother's Father then would be John B. Price?

I feel like I'm spamming you. If you see anything for a Daniel K. Polk in the area, that would also be my family, Matilda's husband. I found his death certificate. Also if you see any Badger/Badges.

Yeah, I just found what you posted on Matilda and that is definitely her! I guess the years can be a bit off sometimes, but that's her.
Thank you so much! Many blessings to you and yours!

I believe Matilda Alston Polk is Ethel Polk Alston's mother, if the dates are correct. She was married to Daniel K. Polk. If it says she was born around 1859 it should be her.
Thank you soooo much! I was beginning to think my great grandparents had unmarked graves. I thought certainly someone must have cared enough to get them a tombstone? Was depressing! I'm glad to see they have tombstones. Thank you so much! How did you find them? Did the cemetery have proper records or did you find them yourself?

Of course! I am not in a hurry. I kind of hope to get what pictures I can over the course of late fall and winter, when it isn't so hot and there will be less foliage in the way.
I am not ready to start yet so you don't need to feel rushed to upload the pics you took. I understand about limited mobility...had a bad knee and while it sounded like a trifle it sure did not feel that way, am much better for now.
Thanks for getting back to me so promptly.
God's Grace be upon you!

I noticed you claimed the photo request for this cemetery. I am interested in trying to photograph all of this cemetery and I was wondering if you would be interested in,me to document it? I could meet you over there sat. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks,
