RE: Frederick 'Freddie' Cain
Dee,

I did not find a Anna Cain who died in 1930 in Ohio that was interred in Westlawn where Fred is interred. I did transfer Frederick's posting to you.

RE: Hannah Cain
Hi, All you have to do is type in a name on roots and it will bring up everyone who has an entry on that person. Off to the right are the ID's of the submitters and mine is (doile). However it is an old tree and I have not resubmitted a newer one.

RE: Hannah Cain Knight
Dee, I really have nothing on the Cain family from Daniel Cain down except my line which is up on rootsweb. A Diane Cain went to the DAR about 2 years ago and proved that Susannah Custer was not our ancestor but married to a different Cain. I found in records where Daniel was buried, at his old farm, the Allen Farm. I know for a fact that 28 family members died in the Colora epidemic in 1846 but not all their names were known. I do have photo's of the graves though. There is an exsisting Bible of Samuel and Hannah but...I can not get access to it. It had been stored in an open shed until I called about it. The guy thinks he is the only Knight boy decendent but he is really mistaken, big time. lol I have never had much luck looking up the Cain family and would love to know more.

Hannah Cain Knight
Dee, If you will take another look, you will find I already have a memorial on Hannah. I had someone go take photo's of the headstones for me, a volenteer at the cemetery and the envelope that she sent them to me in states Fairview Primitive Baptist Cemetery. It used to be just plain Primitive Baptist. Go take a look and you will find the entire family there, all 28 of the family that died in that Colora epidemic.

I do wonder if you are a cousin and would I would like to hear from you. Meanwhile, would you please take your memorial down.

I do not know if you are family but...I know where the family Bible belonging to Daniel Cain Knight is and he wrote all the names of the 28 family members down in it.

Abigail Wells Brandt Coon
Hi Dee,

I was just reading your entry for Abigail. I see you listed her husband as dieing (sp?) on the battlefield of Vicksburg. I just recently received Abigail's Widow's Pension Records and it says that John died in the hospital of "camp fever and inflammatory rheumatism" -- that was at Milliken's Bend, Madison Parish, Louisiana, May 14, 1863.

Hope you're doing well!

Wahington Beckett
do you think your friend would talk or share any information with me about the Beckett family? I desperately want to find out who Wahington's father and mother were. FYI, I am not 100% sure the picture is Washington but it was made in Denver, CO and I know of no others except Dick Beckett who lived here. I am really taking a leap of faith on that one.
