I am interested in genealogy and the history of Weed, California. I appreciate the many contributions to Find A Grave, so I am slowly adding data and photos to the Winema and Lincoln Heights Cemeteries in Weed. You may use photos I post if you are a relative.
If you have a relative buried at Winema or Lincoln Heights Cemetery, I would love to hear from you. Perhaps we could help each other in our search for people from the past. | |

 | Doris Lemberger Keller Thank you for removing the photo from her husband's page. Please also remove your photo from Doris' page. I'll re-post my photo at higher resolution. The page doesn't need 2 photos of the same tombstone. Thank you.

 | RE: Thank you! No William wasn't the first one to have land in Trenton - Ephraim Haynes was - no known relation to Peter and Perley. The first white girl born in what was then Trenton was a Joy. The area is now Ellsworth. There were a number of others but they didn't stay here. I believe Elizabeth and Job are cousins but I can't prove it. | | | Patti Leland

 | RE: Thank you! You're welcome - please post or email me if there are more pictures you would like. I am curious are you a descendant of Lura's? She is the grandmother of a friend of mine. | | | David Shipley
 | RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 93770407 Hi Linda,
I think you are right as well. I'm looking into it. I cannot seem to relocate the 1880 Census record that I thought gave her name as McKean. I took a look at the death certificate and saw as well her maiden name would have been Allen.
Are you able to access the 1880 Census data for John, Nancy, and his mother Sarah? Sarah must married a McKean at some point if this is the case. Let me know if you have access to the record to confirm that Nancy isn't listed as McKean and I'll update the profile with the correct maiden name.
Thanks for any additional help, David | | | Annie
 | Eliza Harvey I have waked over the cemetery several times without finding Mrs Harvey or any Harvey's in the cemetery. I have withdrawn my claim so someone else may be able to find it for you..So sorry I could not fulfill your request.Added by Annie on Mar 05, 2013 6:59 PM | | | Jeryl
 | RE: Thank you! No, I'm not related to the Moore family. In the summer I live two miles from the cemetery and am trying to get "everyone" accounted for and placed on Find A Grave. I haven't completed all the inventory via personal observation and photos. The Wilson Museum has a website that is pretty good: http://www.wilsonmuseum.org/cemdata/index.html. I'm helping the museum update their web listings. I have a lot more photos to upload and hopefully will get them all up before too long. (famous last words.) Unfortunately, I haven't finished section F where Betsey Moore is buried. JerylAdded by Jeryl on Feb 25, 2013 11:49 AM | | | Jeryl
 | RE: Thank you! You are welcome. I see you are looking for Moores also. The names in that plot are only GRINDLE ( no Moores). There is no SALLIE in that plot. Betsey Moore is in Sec F Lot 553. The other name in that plot is Louisa Rogers. There are no other names there that I know of but can check next spring when I am in Castine. If you find a link for Mother Mary, let me know.
