Find a grave is such a wonderful site! I'm always humbled and amazed at the generosity of genealogy volunteers. I've been helped so much in my family history quest by "strangers" and I always strive to "pay it forward" to other "strangers".|
I am researching the following surnames:
~Brady (Philadelphia/Atlantic City)
~Morselander/Moslander/Moselander (South NJ)
~Kidd (Wisconsin/Tioga County, NY)
~Austin (Upstate NY-Tioga/Wyoming/Erie Counties)
~Golden (Upstate NY-Tioga County)
~Auer (PA and Upstate NY)
I am able and willing to take photos in the Orlando, FL area. Can do Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties.
Your tombstone stands among the rest;
In this field of green.
The name and date are chiseled out
For all the world to see.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I'd exist,
You died long before I was born.
Yet we are of one, you and I,
In flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the life you lived
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.

Hi -- I was photographing this section of Most Holy Redeemer in Phila, and saw the flat marker for Charles & Catherine Vanderslice (men # 22263194 ). It is half covered with dried mud, and I didn't have cleaning things with me. I'll try to clean/photo it if I'm out there again. FYI - there were no dates on the marker.

|James Seidelman||RE: Minnie Bailey (Kidd)|
I photographed the Osseo Cemt. several years ago, but I don't have a photo of her stone. I typed all the death and burial permits for the cemetery and that's how I obtained the information.
There are several other Baileys in the cemetery buried next or near to Minnie, are they related?
|Bobbi Fox||RE: Ella Peterman Hess|
I am very happy to help and to let you know I also added a photo for Norman B. Hess which was right next to Ella.
|edward smith||RE: Peterman-St Gabriel|
You are welcome. I took a couple others also that i havent posted yet. J.Martin Peterman is buried next to Cletus Elwood Peterman and Donald J Peterman. I believe these are his sons, but Ella was not with them. I did not see her but will look again when i get a chance. Lots of petermans and hesses in the cemetery.
