Steve, the following is all I have. By all means don't go through the whole cemetery; just keep the name in the back of your mind whenever you visit the cemetery.

Obituary, Paducah Morning Register, March 16, 1897 - RUSSELL B. LANDER: In the death of Mr. R. B. LANDER, which occurred yesterday morning at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. ELLEN MORROW, another one of the hoary(?) headed patriots whom we all delight to honor, has passed away. He was in the eighty fourth year of his age and the coming of the end rounds out a long life well spent. No man among us can have a more stainless page upon life's history.

For more than half a century he had been a member of the Methodist church and led a consistent, upright, honest, Christian life, punctilious in the discharge of all his duties, jealous of his good name, strong in his convictions, sturdy of character, honest, upright and honorable in his dealings, he leaves to his children the priceless heritage of a good name.

All of his children, Mrs. O. T. TORIAN, Mrs. ELLEN MORROW, Mrs. W. A CADE, of this city, and Mr. F. D. LANDER, of Columbia, Tennessee, and his favorite niece, Miss MARION LANDER, of Hopkinsville, were with him in his last hours.

Rev. H. B. JOHNSTON will conduct the funeral services at the Broadway Methodist church this afternoon at 2 o'clock, the services at the grave being conducted by the Masons, of which order the deceased was a long and honored member, holding a life membership in Paducah Commandery No. 11, Knights Templar.

The pall bearers will be Messrs. THOMAS A. BAKER, M.V. CHERRY, KNOX FLOURNOY, SAMUEL HOUSTON, GEORGE C. CRUMBAUGH, B. H. SCOTT, W. L. COWAN and Dr. M.G. MILAM. The interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.

I appreciate all you have done.

Kindest Regards,
David Lander

I transfered the record to you. I didn't see a prompt to remove photo. I have no problem transfering records. I know you agree, our goal is to preserve records electronically.

Kindest Regards,
David Lander
