It looks like the November date was entered in
error. It has been corrected. Sorry!

|Battling Maxo||RE: Brown Cemetery, KY|
Thank you for your reply. I suspected that this was one of those re-named cemeteries. Obituaries in the 1940's refer to it as Johnson Cemetery, Johnson family cemetery etc. It's one of 2 Johnson's in Russell County, the one in Eli:

Do you have the location of this cemetery? Thanks.

What is the name of the spouse and date of birth.
|Paul McGowan||RE: spouse's side of stone|
That is where we differ.
I am more interested in finding and completing my genealogy research.
This includes the cause of death.

Please take a photo of spouse side of the headstone.
|Diana Davis-Marshall||RE: different birth dates|
I entered that in 2005, so am pulling a blank why I had a different birth date. I've changed it according to the stone. I'm glad you said something.

|coan.net||Jehu Franklin McGowan|
Just wanted to let you know there is no Erthington Cemetery in Vermilion County Illinois.
I did some quick searchs for Jehu Franklin McGowan and did not find anyone with that spelling, but did find a Jehu Franklin McGownd which match the dates you have as being buried in Atherton Cemetery in Vermilion County Illinois.
I found this information on Pape Mortuary Website which has a nice searchable database online. I also found some information from the local genealogy society that this plot is unmarked, and I have taken pictures of every stone in Atherton and can tell you I have not come across the stone and agree that it is unmarked.
