Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live very close to several cemetaries and frequently go to those in my city of Brockton, MA. The closest is Calvary, however, our daughter, Gwendolyn Carlson, died in 1993 and is buried in North Weymouth Cemetary, so I can occasionally take some photos or collect information there. The bonus advantage I have for the North Weymouth Cemetary is that many of my husband's family is buried there and he also attended high school with the main caretaker, Paula Mine. Paula is a wealth of information with stories about almost every grave she cares for and she was our daughter's Godmother too. If you need any information, let me know.

I am a professional actor/comedian/singer with an erratic schedule (busy like crazy, then quiet for months), so my time is more flexable than most.

I am currently researching my own family background and have been able to connect here on Find-A-Grave with distant cousins whom are also researching their family tree. To me, researching ancestry is more about the living than the dead. It's wonderful to know where you came from and to connect with LIVING relatives whom you may have never had the chance to even meet otherwise. New friendships, new kindships, it's great.

My maiden name is Eward. I am interested in the following family surnames:

- Frawley - THIS ONE IS MY CURRENT PRIORITY. My Grandma Esther (Frawley) Martinson's father was a Frawley but I don't remember his first name. I do know that my Great Grandfather was a lady's man and I believe he had 3 seperate wives. My grandmother's full sister's name (maybe a nickname) is Tootsie. She was married to Jeffrey White. I would love to have more info on my great grandpa Frawley such as his first name, other wives names, his parents, etc. He died in British Columbia, Canada at the age of around 95. Because he was so secretive about his own family, it's tough to research if he had siblings, more children than we know about *smile*, etc. It's quite a roadblock for my tree.

- Mitchell
- Boone (I am a direct decendant of Elizabeth Boone, Daniel Boone's sister)
- Bruyn
- Pryne
- Grant
- Moody or Moodey

Thanks and all my best to everyone who is also on this quest to learn more about who we are, where we came from, and making sure our future generations appreciate what their ancestors endured to eventually bring them into this world.

RE: Hello to a distant relative!
Hi Renee,

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better! I love photographing the old stones at out of the way cemeteries. I would imagine in Massachusetts there will be plenty of those!

Happy hunting!

RE: Hello to a distant relative!
Hi Renee,

So good to hear from a new relative! Robert was loads of help to me because I had reached a brick wall with the Eward line and he had tons of information. Isn't this fun!

I have a tree on ancestry. com too. email me at mikeandcarol@cimtel.net and I'll give you access to view my family tree. Most of the Eward info I got from Robert so you may already have it.

Most of the photo requests I fill are found in small cemeteries that you can just walk through. Those are the ones I like the best. Usually on the bigger cemeteries, I call city hall and ask for help. They either have the records or will give you a caretaker number to call. We've had a lot of interesting experiences doing this and met lots of nice people.

Hope to hear from you again.

Carol
