Bio and Links
Bio Photo I began my genealogy researching after my father mentioned that he wanted to know what happened to one of his aunts on his father's side. He didn't know his father since he passed away in 1935 just after he was born. He didn't know a thing about his grandparents on his father's side either, so my search began. I wanted to locate information, any information that I could gather for him.

After I received marriage and death certificates for some of the relatives, names started fitting into place. I found it interesting and intriguing. The journey has taken so far 3 years and I still have a long way to go.

I am now searching for locations of graves/headstones for many of my relatives so that I can let my father know where they are resting.

I am hoping that this site can help me find the relatives long lost. Maybe some of the family headstones that I add can help others in their search, as well.

Family names include: Thompson, East, Roope, Roop, Rupe, Hudson, Wolfe, Loftis, Lewis, Wilbourne, Wilburn, Wilborn, Nance, White, Bond, and many others.

I am having difficulty in locating graves for many relatives. I know where they passed away but where they are resting is a mystery. Maybe some day they will no longer be mysteries.

Estelle or Estel Lowman Taylor?
The spelling is Estel in obituary. Estelle is a female spelling, I believe. Also, his records show Estel or Estil.

RE: The Fannie Hoback who m. Fred Carper
Whenever convenient, could you pls remove the "Sr." after his name on the inscription note on his wife's page. There is no "Sr." on her headstone. And the inscription reads as follows: "Rosie May Wife of D.G. Taylor Sept 13, 1879 Oct 21, 1918 Asleep in Jesus".
I removed the photo until you hopefully get permission. I also have a photo of Donie G. Taylor and wife Rosie that was posted by the same person. Perhaps she will consent to adding the photo also.

RE: The Fannie Hoback who m. Fred Carper
The note on his memorial page states "No headstone found". What makes me wonder is that, I, for one, had put the "bef 1940" date on my family tree.. and you know how that goes, if somebody does not OPEN the tree to look, the date shows up as 1940 (not showing "bef") ... so, if you do find out definitely, would appreciate knowing.
