Most of my family on my mothers side , the Clem's are from Lewistown,Md. My fathers side are mostly from the Middletown, Md area. Some of the Clems, have spread out in many areas to Pa, Ohio, Virginia, and the spelling of the Clem name has changed over time from Klemm,Klem,Clemm,Clem. I lived in Middletown, md for 24 yrs, when i got married moved to Knoxville, Md., then having moved to Thurmont, Md.

Thank you much for adding the picture of her headstone. Now if I could only find her husband David. The only clue I have is the death notice from the newspaper in 1893 which says "interment was made at Dunkard Church of Highland." Could it be the same place? I don't know.

Thank you so much for the photograph of my great-uncle Alton's marker! I am visiting my mother, and she was thrilled to see a picture of her Uncle's stone. He ended up far from the rest of his siblings, so having a picture of his final resting place means a lot to us. Thanks again.
