William W McCammon

You took a nice photo and placed it in memorial # 3534924, but that's the wrong William W McCammon. It actually belongs on memorial # 8055572.

My grandmother was Eleanor Swett
Dear Rod-

Thank you for this WONDERFUL photo of Elmer and company. Do you have a date in which the photo was taken?

I have the picture of Elmer in his military attire. I had not seen his obituary, but I am glad to have seen it now. I was not quite 7 when Elmer died, and despite mine and my father's protests, I was not allowed to attend the funeral. His eldest child, Eleanor Swett Landreth, was my grandmother, and she passed on in 2004.

I have been out to The Dallas & Dufur about half a dozen times, having visited the cemeteries. I have pictures of Elmer's brothers and sisters headstones.

If you don't mind my asking: how are you related to Charles Henry Swett & Lucy Hanna Swett? Where is your connection? Margie was kind enough to send this link on to me, and we have traded headstone pictures of great-greatgrandparents.

Thanks for this,
Jessica Landreth
