annie criggar baker
Hi Jared,
Can you please tell me if Annie Criggar Baker is buried in the front section or old section of Shiloh. I am redoing the records for Shiloh and I even took a picture of the grave. I have it as the front section but am questioning myself on if it was in the front or the back because of the date. Thanks for your help.

Payne Memorial
If you would like to manage your uncle's memorial, I will transfer it to your care. I am not a relative (but I do take care of the Paynes' cat so I am reminded of them every day).

I talked to my cousin and she said his grave is probably in the woods beside Darthula and A.B (Aaron Brown) Buleson. AB is William Lafayette & Eurania (Ronnie) Holshouser's son. He was buried there instead of Symrna because his Wife's family are all at Shiloh. I checked Symrna and looks like they are all on line and he is not there. I am sure he is there.

Pvt Edgar Whitehorn
Hello Jared - thank you for your contributions! I have a question for you regarding subject Whitehorn. Working up the tree and I came across Edgar Whitehorn, who died on 12 Sep 1927 (seems to match month/yr on the memorial you listed). Additionally, I have a copy of the application for 'military' headstone for this individual, who was indeed a private, and buried in Mount Lebanon Cemetery. However, the one I'm finding was born in 1895 - served in WWI, Co A, 323 Infantry, 81st Division. Could it possibly be the same person with a mixup in the birth year? His father was Robert Whitehorn, so that wouldn't be the one you listed either. I'm not there, so haven't seen the grave you recorded so just trying to figure it all out based on paperwork that I DO have -- I could certainly be missing some from elsewhere in the line. Appreciate your time. Thanks, -leslie

Hurt Family
Hello again. Found another Hurt family member, suspect she is probably related to your Hurt family but don't know the exact link yet. She was Grizzellah H. Hurt 1856-1925, buried in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Callao, Mo. Daughter of Peyton Y. Hurt 1823-1891 and Elizabeth Frances Harrelson 1834-1878. Married to Winford F. Morrow 26 Dec 1878 in Macon County, Mo.

RE: hi
From what I have just found on Ancestry, she was Katie Hurt, daughter of James Henry Hurt 1859-1939 and Laura Lovella Clark 1858-1930. So far what I found is that Katie was the 5th of 6 children of James & Laura. Her grandfather was William Hurt born 1794 in Virginia and died 1878 in Macon County, Missouri. Have not found her grandmother's identity yet.
