I am a wife, mother of 4 who has spent my entire life tagging along with my grandma and mother who researched our tree the old way. I love to researching genealogy, with each new clue there is always a new mystery to solve. I am digitizing our family history and preserving family photographs. |
I also volunteer through RAOGK.org, Genealogy Freelancers, write, and volunteered as a Technology Resource for Whispers from the Dust, a non profit organization for preservation of cemeteries.
I can be reached at DawnsDelightsart@gmail.com
Family names in my research,

I went back to Carpinteria cemetery today to photograph other requests. While there I checked on the marker next to Ednas unmarked grave. The name on the stone is Katie Hart, and she is on the right side of Edna. I also noticed that one row above her is a Phillip G. Billings. Family member? A memorial was already set up for him. # 79884580.

I fulfilled your request for Edna. However it is an unmarked grave. This was confirmed by cemetery records and with the groundskeeper physically showing me the spot. I have attached a photo of the grave, with yellow flowers marking the spot where her headstone would have been. I feel foolish for not getting the full name of the headstone next to her, but will be going back ther next week if you would like me to get that info for you.

You're welcome. If I can help on anything else, let me know. Have fun. Janice
I'm looking at photo requests for Center Cemetery Rocky Hill CT. Is this the same John Tryon that you requested who is buried in Maple Cemetery Berlin CT...#43451893?? If it is the same person...when you get a chance please delete your photo request at Center Cemetery in Rocky Hill.

Dawn, thank you! I had been unable to confirm that this was in fact Annie's husband from the Ogden City Cemetery database online. This helps me soooo much!!!

Yes, their son (William Clarence Stimpson) is buried in the cemetery - Find A Grave Memorial# 63433100. I thought perhaps you were maybe referring to an additional stone with William Stimpson imprinted on it.

RE: Ogden City Cemetery "I found buried next to Annie Stimpson a William Stimpson, born April 27, 1859- died October 29, 1942, is this person another relative?"
Thank you so much for the photos of Earl Williams and Annie Stimpson. I know Annie was married to a William Stimpson but was unable to locate his grave in the online database. I have no other information to verify that the grave is his, but believe it may be so! That gives me more information to work with to verify if it is her husband at least! Thank you-- You are so good to go and get those even in the snow!
