My future mother-in-law introduced me to genealogy about December 1961 and I have been hooked ever since.|
Where I live in northern Indiana the acid rain is rapidly disolving the inscriptions on the old limestone tombstones.
In 1963 when I was discharged from the army I visited the family cemetery and walked down a row of stones and wrote down the inscriptions, but Today you can hardly read them.
I enjoy finding and recording stones that are weathered or broken.
For many of the young children this is the only record that they existed.
I am now retired, so I have time. If I can be of help, please write or call.

Imagine my surprise to find my great grandmother's headstone added by you! Her maiden name was Howeken or Hoveke in Germany so I am wondering where you got the one that you have listed? Her husband is listed on the stone, Theodor Buscher.
I visited Lake county several years ago but could not find her resting place so thank you so much! If you are not related, I would love to take care of her memorial. The number is 114848127.
Thanks for posting, we did not know exactly when she died, only before February of 1876. Somewhere I have Theodor's headstone photo down in Benton County.
You accidentally put the wrong photo on memorial # 7207166. There's another Thomas Rainwater there though that you can add that photo to (#155390147). Thanks for all you do!

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THE CEMETERY IN WHICH THESE RELATIVES ARE BURIED FOR AT LEAST FOUR YEARS. WHEN WE WERE CHILDREN MY MOTHER GRANDMOTHER AND UNCLES WOULD TAKE MY SISTERS AND ME AND ALSO A COUSIN TO THE GRAVES IN GARY. NONE OF US HAS BEEN ABLE TO RECALL THE NAME OF THE CEMETERY.
YOU HAVE LOCATED THE GRAVE FOR THE INFANT MATTEO CARUSO (1919-1920). THERE IS SO MUCH I WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS WITH YOU. PLEASE CALL ME AT 434-973-0755 OR SEND YOUR PHONE NUMBER TO ME VIA E-MAIL: email@example.com
AVERY GRATEFUL FELLOW GENALOGIST,

I am helping Christine Lynon-Wilson with her family history and you have submitted her grandparents memorials. I will have her contact you soon to transfer them to her.
Can you accept the edit I sent you. Samuel is my Grandfathers brother and I have the information from my Family book and from ancestry. Thanks

Too bad no one seems to know the years on this guy's tombstone. We could figure out the birth date if we knew. I have a date calculator in my Family Tree Maker Program that figures it for me. I can read the 4 months. I don't suppose you have access to that info.
This is in Spencer Cem. in Kouts, Porter Co., IN.
This is on my father's (Mounts) side of the family

Any chance we could get the two Neff Cemeteries combined and duplicates eliminated?

Any edit corrections please request directly on the grave.
Willis and Ellen (Brickley) Allison are my great grandparents. I was very happy to see your posting at find a grave. Are you in any way related? If you wish, I could add additional information for them.
Thank you. Pam
