Bio and Links
Bio Photo My future mother-in-law introduced me to genealogy about December 1961 and I have been hooked ever since.
Where I live in northern Indiana the acid rain is rapidly disolving the inscriptions on the old limestone tombstones.
In 1963 when I was discharged from the army I visited the family cemetery and walked down a row of stones and wrote down the inscriptions, but Today you can hardly read them.
I enjoy finding and recording stones that are weathered or broken.
For many of the young children this is the only record that they existed.
I am now retired, so I have time. If I can be of help, please write or call.

Jim and his wife Marilyn

Hi Jim,

I sent you an email to the jabaugh7228 account a few weeks ago but I haven't heard from you, so I thought I'd try your Find a Grave page. I'm looking for sources for some of the info on George and Margaret's page. Thanks!

Oak HIll - Gary
Hi Jim!
Thank you so very much for the photo of my great-grandmothers headstone located in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Gary Indiana. It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife at the LC Public Library. People like you and your wife don't get enough thank-you's for all the hard work you do. Much appreciated here!
Kathy
