Bio Photo This is a photo of my ggg grandmothers grave.
I have never seen the grave. I really appreciate the person who took the photo.
Thanks a lot.

It is my wish that I have entered someone you are looking for. If I have entered any one related to you and they are not related to me - I will be happy to transfer. My goal is not to see how many memorial I can create, but to help you find your love ones . I don't mean to offend anybody, the memorials are made so love ones can find their relatives. If I have entered anything incorrectly, I will be glad to correct.

Any and all information or pictures, I have uploaded, are meant for sharing. Family memories were meant to be passed on. I just don't understand anyone that thinks different. I think if you don't want to share, than don't put them on a public site.

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

Earl Whittington - Your Suggestion
Mary,

Thanks for your suggestion to link Earl to his parents. I knew their names but had not searched for Find A Grave memorials for them. So thank you for the connection. Nice to see their markers and know where they are buried.

Are you a descendant of Earl's parents? I really don't know much about Earl's birth family and am very interested since I knew Earl and he was such a wonderful person.

Thanks for any info you can send me offline to my gmail address.

Headstone Photo
I just want to say thank you for your generous spirit--for allowing others to have access to your photos of our relatives' headstones. I found your photo of Delia Crawford's headstone and am adding it to my tree.

Donald Ray Bohannan
Lucile Bohannan
Hi. I made a mistake and edited. Lucille Bohannan should be Rev. Lucille Bohannan Stockton. I can not change/add the last name. She is my step-grandmother. She was married to Rev. Jesse Franklin Bohannan. Donald Bohannan

RE: Alonzo Barlow Cade
With so many family members using the same names it can get confusing. I misstated before that the Alonzo's burial place in Clarendon I'm seeking was Edgar R's brother. This Edgar would actually have been his son. Just to clarify, Alonzo Barlow Cade (1855-1936) had sons Alonzo Earl (1888-1963) and Edgar R (1889-?). We think this Edgar is the one buried in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon and that his father, Alonzo Barlow Cade, is also buried in Clarendon. Alonzo Barlow Cade's son, Alonzo Earl, had son Edgar Ray (1921-1975). Alonzo Earl and Edgar Ray are both buried in Edith Ford Cemetery in Canadian.
