Bio Photo This is a photo of my ggg grandmothers grave.
I have never seen the grave. I really appreciate the person who took the photo.
Thanks a lot.

It is my wish that I have entered someone you are looking for. If I have entered any one related to you and they are not related to me - I will be happy to transfer. My goal is not to see how many memorial I can create, but to help you find your love ones . I don't mean to offend anybody, the memorials are made so love ones can find their relatives. If I have entered anything incorrectly, I will be glad to correct.

Any and all information or pictures, I have uploaded, are meant for sharing. Family memories were meant to be passed on. I just don't understand anyone that thinks different. I think if you don't want to share, than don't put them on a public site.

Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.

Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.

Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.

Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.

Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.

Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.

Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

Mary, thank you for the photograph. It is my normal procedure to check first to see if there is a memorial entered. Don't know what happened here. But again, thanks for the photograph.

RE: James Long
Can you tell me who requested the picture? My grandmother had a 1/2 brother that she never met & I'm thinking his family was able to provide him a headstone. It would be nice to know this part of the family.

I found this marker that was taken by you. It is my g grandfather. I'm trying to find out if he is buried with the headstone? Old files show him to be located elsewhere & there is no marker there via the funeral home? Can you let me know what info you have & if you can remember the location of this headstone please? I'm having the Robertson Funeral Home double check this for me. My grandmother was his daughter & he died when she was 3. It always bothered her not knowing where he was buried or if he had a headstone.

This is my great aunt. Twin sister to my grandfather, her birthdate should be December 9, 1883 same as his which is recorded in his Bible. I do not know who placed the date on the marker, but I feel it is incorrect.

Mary,
Thank you for originally transferring this memorial into my care. Find A Grave {Find A Grave] also transferred a second, and much older memorial, for this same individual to me, i.e. #9417612.
I believe I have copied all relevant information in your 2011 memorial into the older 2004 memorial.
Would you please delete the duplicate 2011 memorial I recently transferred back to you.
BTW, Find A Grave will not let me delete your 2011 memorial.
