This is a photo of my ggg grandmothers grave.|
I have never seen the grave. I really appreciate the person who took the photo.
Thanks a lot.
It is my wish that I have entered someone you are looking for. If I have entered any one related to you and they are not related to me - I will be happy to transfer. My goal is not to see how many memorial I can create, but to help you find your love ones . I don't mean to offend anybody, the memorials are made so love ones can find their relatives. If I have entered anything incorrectly, I will be glad to correct.
Any and all information or pictures, I have uploaded, are meant for sharing. Family memories were meant to be passed on. I just don't understand anyone that thinks different. I think if you don't want to share, than don't put them on a public site.
Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.
Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.
Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.
Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.
Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.
Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

I think I figured it out. It looks like it was changed this morning. Thank you so much for your work. I've been able to locate several of my family members. I appreciate it.

Dear Ms. Miller,
A friend of mine directed me to this website, where I discovered my dad's record. Thank you so much for posting it for us. It made me smile to see it. I noticed that his middle name is spelled wrong. It is showing Phillip, and it should be Philip. Can you tell me what I should do to correct it? I'm still new to the site and am not sure what I'm doing. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for posting the photos and letting me know. At first blush I really don't see a family resemblance between Jess and Earl, but I will look at it periodically and may come to see one. His wife looks really nice, just something about her!
I am in Illinois now working on one line of ancestry of Earl's wife. Very successful trip research wise and thoroughly enjoying the people I'm meeting and the area. Midwest is so rich with history!
Thanks for sharing the photos!
