|I am interested in genealogy of my Stewart and Cundiff families. If you are related or have other information, I would like to hear from you.|
Needham Smith Chapel Cemetery is where a lot of my Cundiff family is buried. Needham Smith Chapel Cemetery was first known as Cundiff Cemetery. Perrel Cundiff deeded the land to Smith Chapel UM Church. The first burial there was Hannah Cundiff. Later the name was changed to Smith Chapel Cemetery and today is Needham Smith Chapel Cemetery.

First you email is incorrect as it rejected when I wrote to it.
I thank you so much for helping people find their relatives in this area. I have two questions:
1. Are there records for the cemetery and if so where are they located. Hannah was shipped back from San Luis Obispo, CA and I am interested in who shipped her.
2. Is there a local newspaper an obit might have been published in? if so can you give me the name of it.
I am related to Hannah's Daughter Pearl.
Pearl (Adams) Giblin, Streeter, ? She was living with Pearl and her then husband in the 1940 Census. I cannot find out what happened to Pearl, and felt that perhaps the Mother and Pearl went to CA together. The obit or shipping order or ledger might tell me what Pearls new name might be. I could not find her under Pearl Streeter in the CA records. Thank you for whatever help you can give me.
I also have family at Corydon Cemetery. While there this week, I found and photographed the graves of Clara, Bryant, and Martha Cundiff. The picture of Bryant and Martha's shared headstone is not as good as I had hoped, so if you need a clearer pic, I can get one the next time I'm there.

I did not find a marriage date for them, do you have it? I appreciate your help.
Thank you so much for posting pictures on many memorials. I have made the links you requested for the Dupin memorials, and linked more.

You are very welcome. I try to get as close and as much detail as I can. I want you to be able read it as if you were there. I have seen photos that look like they were taken hanging out their car window as they drove by. I have three other photos but I am only able to post five on a memorial. One closeup of their photo, one of his name and date and one of the children's names on the back.

Janice, thank you so much for your effort to obtain and upload the photo of Charles Martin's gravemarker. I hate to ask more of you; but, I do find that the inscription on the gravemarker is difficult to read. Would you happen to have a higher resolution photo that you would be willing to upload? Thanks again.

It was my pleasure. Right now the cemetery is pretty grown up but the owner of the farm is planning to clean it up and build a fence around it. He would like to be buried there also. Will keep you updated. God bless you too!
