Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am interested in genealogy of my Stewart and Cundiff families. If you are related or have other information, I would like to hear from you.
Needham Smith Chapel Cemetery is where a lot of my Cundiff family is buried. Needham Smith Chapel Cemetery was first known as Cundiff Cemetery. Perrel Cundiff deeded the land to Smith Chapel UM Church. The first burial there was Hannah Cundiff. Later the name was changed to Smith Chapel Cemetery and today is Needham Smith Chapel Cemetery.

You are most welcomed! I like helping families find their families. I know that somewhere someone is looking for someone; just like I am.

A. Lueken
Hi Janice,

Thanks for the info, I have added it. I think it's confusing because some of the family spelled their name Luken and some spelled it Lueken. I'm not sure if it's the same family or not. I hope I have it right. Let me know if you want any of them transferred over to you.

Take care and have a good evening!

Buiggins versus Quiggins
Hello Janice, thank you for informing me of the duplication, which is on the part of the other contributor. Please read what I sent her as I copied it for you below... The correct spelling of the name is Quiggins, and my memorials were created by Virjean Bozarth in 2010. Not a duplicate.. but original. Cheryl placed pics of memorial with name incorrect in 2012.. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

Hello Cheryl, I received a notice from ( Find-A-Grave contributor #47212344, that John BUIGGINS and Leandra BUIGGINS was a duplicate.. I had VirJean Bozarth's transfers of John QUIGGINS and Leandra QUIGGINS and she had created this memorials in 2010. I see that the name is misspelled on your memorial BUIGGINS, which is incorrect and dated 2012.. Could you please delete these duplications, with incorrect name spelling. Also, the memorial pictures that you have taken are lovely and would enhance their memorials with the correct names. If you don't mind, it would be wonderful to have those pictures. Nancy Eskridge married into the Quiggins family and their name can be verified as Quiggins NOT Buiggins.. Thank you so much. Julie (ESKRIDGE) Taylor 47008461

Rev George Cundiff

I have just transferred him to you. I am very sorry for not seeing this request much sooner - your request came in when I had a close family member in the hospital and I wasn't checking email.

Hannh Adams
First you email is incorrect as it rejected when I wrote to it.

I thank you so much for helping people find their relatives in this area. I have two questions:

1. Are there records for the cemetery and if so where are they located. Hannah was shipped back from San Luis Obispo, CA and I am interested in who shipped her.

2. Is there a local newspaper an obit might have been published in? if so can you give me the name of it.

I am related to Hannah's Daughter Pearl.

Pearl (Adams) Giblin, Streeter, ? She was living with Pearl and her then husband in the 1940 Census. I cannot find out what happened to Pearl, and felt that perhaps the Mother and Pearl went to CA together. The obit or shipping order or ledger might tell me what Pearls new name might be. I could not find her under Pearl Streeter in the CA records. Thank you for whatever help you can give me.

I also have family at Corydon Cemetery. While there this week, I found and photographed the graves of Clara, Bryant, and Martha Cundiff. The picture of Bryant and Martha's shared headstone is not as good as I had hoped, so if you need a clearer pic, I can get one the next time I'm there.
