Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been using Find A Grave for a while now, and hope to contribute to the collection.

Mom worked almost continuously researching our Family Tree from her retirement from public work in 1979 to about 1995. Her idea was to be able to share the history of our family with others. It all started out to be a simple history of the direct line of her ancestors in the Somers Family, but as time went by it grew into much much more. Not only did she research the Somers, Summers families, but continued on to gather information and to research the Whitesell family as well. Both the Somers, Summers and the Whitesell families are related to each other at several branches of the tree. The amount of family information that she gathered inspired me to continue her work today. I give all the credit to her for taking the time to do the foot work collecting and recording the family genealogy information.

I cannot forget my Dad either. He was a very patient man when it came to Mom's work on the family tree. He always replied with his unique laugh when Mom told stories of her travels and findings.

Rosa Tickle
I was more than happy to find and post Aunt Rosa's marker. She was the wife of my mother's uncle Jim Tickle. Jim was the brother of my grandfather Turner Tickle.

RE: Ella Summers Huffines
I went back to the cemetery today to double check the plot. Ella Huffines daughter and son in law are on the other side of the monument - Minnie and William Edgar Barbee. There are no other markers on the Huffine side of the monument, however it appears there may be a grave there. I took a picture I can send to your email if you would like to provide it. You might also check with the Burlington cemetery office (336) 222-5077 for a burial record on him. You may need to call a couple of times if you don't get a return call.

You are welcome. I generally take pictures of all those markers in the same plot. As regards her husband, do you have his name? Is he buried with her?

Mildred Trogdon
Hi, thank you for your edit of correction. I have deleted Mildred Trogdon from St Mark's and added her to Alamance Memorial. #152006699 is the memorial number. Sorry that I had this so mixed up. Do you know where Fred T. Trodden is buried? Thanks again for your correction. Peggy

Infant Daughter Gwynn
Since I cannot determine gravestone "Infant Daughter" is "Betty Annetta", added your Edit info to Bio and will maintain name as on gravestone.

William Calvin Kime
I checked his death certificate, and it says his middle name was Christian, which I happen to know was a family name. Still, it might be wrong, but I think I'll have to go with it until I hear of some evidence in addition to his daughter's obituary. I do know too that William Christian had a son named William Calvin, and HIS obituary says the father's name was William Calvin, Sr. I may just make a note on the memorial about this discrepancy. Thanks.
