I have only created memorials or manage memorials that are family, either by blood, or by marriage. I am helping my 87 year old father in-law & 86 year old mother in-law connect with their maternal & paternal grandparents & their siblings/descendants.
Surnames being researched include; Link, Wiese, Dreyer, Roeder/Roder; Redmond, Graham, Burnand, Smith/Schmidt, Waters, Shanks, Bell, Nunn, Cole, James, Parker, Wright, Jensen, Baker, Bass, Belts, Kingery, Cline, Freel, Dennis, Warren, Taylor, Stuart, Sargent, Sidler, Gregory, Vancil, Gilcrease, Clark,Braasch, Carpenter, Maloy.
I've been visiting gravesides since I was a little girl with my grandmother & mom. I try to add a picture whenever possible so that as much info can be documented about them. Many nice people have shared info or even transferred memorials. I don't mind sharing info with others & only respectfully request that others add updates when new info is communicated. It is a goal of mine to connect the family members & to link them together as much as possible. Many family members can only be joined in cyberspace. I appreciate everyone's work & dedication to this site. Thank You! | |

I saw your photo request for this man's marker. I photographed all of the markers in this cemetery in 2001 and there is no marker for him. I live less than a mile from the Black Oak cemetery and maintain a database of early families of Black Oak and Buffalo Township families.

Eve, have not heard from you in a while. I was contacted by a Find A Grave contributor who found Henry Clay Graham's sister burial among a few others of that family.

You have my permission to use the photo, however, the light was poor that day and there is no doubt a better image can be made. I plan to return soon to retake some photos of a very weathered stone that I just couldn't get a readable photo of that day. I'll get a better quality image for you then. My stepdaughter lives nearby, so it shouldn't be too long of a wait. | | | lisa

Hi Eve,
I'm sorry, but I do not have a higher resolution photo of William Bush's headstone. However, I can tell you that the name listed on the other side of the marker is Evelyn. As of 2006, there was not a death date listed for Evelyn on the marker.
I am no longer actively adding entries to Davis Memorial Park, as another volunteer has focused on the cemetery and added entries for almost everyone interred there.
My local newspaper shows an Evelyn Bush that died on Oct. 29, 2008 and was buried at Davis. However, the obit does not list her birth date or if she had a husband, so it's not clear that she is the same person.
