Hi Alan, thank you very much, your info has been a great help in getting my Liggett family straight. I have added the additional memorials needed. Have a great summer. Walt

Hi Alan, thanks for the reply. I found the same data that you did. Therefore, I still can not isolate this William as part of my family. Without a trip to Vermilion Co, IL I might never find an answer. Thanks for the help. Walt

Hi Alan, I have a question about William's parents. I have a 1st cousin William Liggett who was born and died in Vermilion Co about the same time as this William. However, his parents were William and Susan. How were you informed that this William's parents are Jesse & Sidney? You know how difficult it is to track down your older relatives and any help you can provide is much appreciated. Thanks Walt

|Arthur S. Kibby||Charles and Jennie Alford|
I visited the Alexandria Cemetery yesterday to take the photos you requested. Unfortunately, the sexton is on vacation and all the grave records are hand written in a huge book. The worker who was there says it will take a long time to search for the dozen or so photo requests, but they may be able to do it. By walking several sections, I did locate Charles and Jennie Alford's graves, but have not found any of the others you requested. I also took photos of the Alford monument and inscriptions in the same family plot. I have posted these additional photos on John W. Alford's site. I hope to be able to fulfill the additional requests when the sexton returns.

Evelyn White tried to go to to the Pentecost Cemetery last fall and was told she could not since it is on private property. I was there about ten days ago and walked back the lane that leads to the cemetery.
I am interested if anyone contacted you when you took pictures there.
