Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi,

I'm Jim Kelly. I'm a retired educator living in Price Hill on the west side of Cincinnati. I got started with Find A Grave in working on my grandparents' cemetery at St. John's Catholic Church in Dividing Ridge, Pendleton County, Kentucky.

I'm willing to take pictures if asked.

I try to be as accurate as possible. I am human and sometimes make mistakes. If you find a mistake please, please let me know. I will gladly correct it asap. If you want the State, County of birth, County of death etc. I will be glad to add that information if you send it to me. I will also transfer to a family member.

RE: Sisters of Mercy
Hi Jim,

I was not able to get to your memorials there, the link didn't work for me. I'll try a little later, I have some health issues I have to deal with right now. Take care, have a good evening!

Thanks for the photo. My great-great-grandmother was a Goetz from Cincinnati which is why I'm especially interested in that surname. I took 600 pictures on Sunday at St. Joseph's so I'll be a while in processing them. But I have other photos for some of the memorials you've created. I'll let you know when I get to them. Thanks.

RE: Sisters of Charity Cemetery
Sometimes I do the same thing, but I always try to check things, but still I know I have made MANY mistakes. I really enjoy decorating the Nun's memorials. Do you know if there are any other convent cemeteries anywhere around there?

I don't have any way of knowing what might be missing, but I will check and if I see one without a picture, I'll let you know. Also, I don't think I really checked the first part of the alphabet for errors. I think I started pestering you when I got about a third of the way through, so if times permits, I'll go back and do some more checking.

RE: Madeleine Maloney, S.C
I haven't contacted her yet. I was just decorating the Sisters' graves, and was trying to get through them because there are over 700. This is what I do to relax when I'm not creating memorials. I have made SO many errors myself, so don't worry about it. I enter my memorials from cemetery transcripts and sometimes there are errors in those, so I just keep the error going until somebody notices it. I appreciate all the work that you do for this site. We need to all work together to keep it the fantastic resource that it is.

Thanks James, I didn't mean to pester you! But I know, like you do, that we all want everything to be as accurate as possible. I'll watch and if I see anything more, I'll send an edit. Thanks for being so understanding!

RE: Kathleen Ann Collins corrected)
Thank you -- Kathleen's loss was deeply felt by my parents. Her family is local -- we do not need a photo posted on the internet.

Kind Regards,

Teresa

James F. Kelly,

I suppose the dead have no privacy but I felt that our family's privacy was invaded by seeing a picture of our loved one's grave posted on the internet. Why would you do this?
