Thanks for your note. My husband is connected to the McNalls via Sarah McNall Mitchell, who is buried at Chestnut Ridge/Huskey. I'm trying to find her 10 siblings. I have four with good IDs. If you care to compare data, contact me at

Hello, I sent some edits for your McNall memorials in this cemetery. There is no space after the Mc and I hope you could tell that is what I was noting. I made memorials for these folks without the space and then found yours. I had made some date additions and can send those or you can add from mine, and then I will delete mine. Are you related to the McNalls?

I could double-check with the staff at the cemetery office, but I seem to recall them saying something about previous owners of the grave site. Perhaps Carters owned it first and then sold or transferred it to Thomas Plant. It is odd that Clark Carter's name appears in the lower left corner of the stone. I could still read it yesterday when I was there.

I will keep you in mind.

You're most welcome. I know the picture is not great, but the best I could do at the time. I tried putting some water on it but did not help much. The cemetery is very close to our house, in fact we drive by it every day. If you need anything else, just let me know.

Hi, Margaret,

I just checked my information and I think I was probably doing too much too late at night. I have this family all mixed up. And, to tell you the truth, I don't even know now where I found your name! I'm so sorry to have troubled you. I will try to get myself straightened out and see if I really did have a question for you. Please accept my abject apologies, as well as my thanks for looking into my errant request.

Take care.

Fanny Harrington
in Oct,2012, you requested a photo for Fanny in Harger Cemetery. Same day response was that there was no tombstone for Fanny and the dates matched her mother. Do you have info on Fanny's burial, as i am beginning to conclude that Fanny was added in error. Original contributor, Shiver, appears inactive. Photo request is still o/s on Find A Grave. I have been filling in missing info in Harger Cemetery and was wondering what you might know. Thank you.
