RE: Pleasant Ridge Wiginton graves
I wish I could help you but I truly don't remember any other Wiginton graves in that area and it has been 2 or 3 years since I took those pictures. These were close together. I thought I had these original pics on my computer but evidently I wrote them off to a disc. If you would like the originals I will look for them.
A person who may be able to help you is Joyce Rye Kasberg. You can find her on the memorial for
Thomas Wesley Wigington Sr. She is very informed on the history and cemeteries in Marion County.
Good luck,
Ellece

RE: A. Wiginton
Albert Anthony has been added to memorial #86513284. It would be better to edit the memorial, that way I have the memorial number for the person that I need to make corrections to, instead of having to do a search.

Thanks so very much for this information.

civil war wiggintons
I would like to get the list of Wiggintons that served in the civil war. Somewhere I have family information that says we fought on both sides, including helping with the underground railroad and someone riding with Quantrelle

RE: M.F. West
Hi, the M.F. West in Grove Hill Cemetary is my 2nd great grandfather. His name was Mansfield West and he was born in South Carolina. They later lived in Mississippi and then Texas. My great grandfather was Eula Willis West and he married Zeola Parr who was from Leonard, TX. They moved to Oklahoma. Their only child was my grandmother Ila May West. They are all buried in McAlester, OK. I have not seen the name of the person you're searching for associated with this family, HOWEVER, I really do not know very much. Hope this helps you a little. RE: John Burkel Wiginton
John Wiginton middle name may be Brockett, I took the info from his Death Certificate, listing his middle name as Burkel. I don't have any pictures of the Wiginton family. John B Wiginton's sister Elizabeth married into my Cox Family.

RE: Wigginton Grave
I do not show that I have made a photo of his grave yet but I have not taken all of them. There are several churches w/cemeteries in that area very close to Lebanon United Methodist Campground church cemetery. That name is sort a misleading I believe as there is no campground now tho there may have been many years ago. If you will email me straight I will talk to you about looking this up for you. my email is mafdville@cableone.net. I can look in the cemetery books at our library. I need the b. and d. deaths if you have them or if you don't I can look by name only.

Daniel K. Hickman, CSA
Dear KBear, I just read your note to Bev regarding the prison on Rock Island, off the extreme north western state line of Illinois, was this prison of Alton,IL the one you were referring to? My g-g-grandmother's brother, Daniel K. Hickman died there and the date given me was on or about 03 Mar 1864.
You indicated there was a picture, but I did not come across the gravesite or picture. I was trying to ascertain who Bev was as she entered a gravesite for my ancestor John L. Shearrer in the Woods Cemetery in Wayne Co, MO. I was surprised to see it, because someone else listed him in the Rowland-Woods Cemetery, in Wayne, MO. I am not familiar with the area but all my local Shearrer cousins give Rowland-Woods as the cemetery most of our ancestors were buried in.
John L. Shearrer married Daniel K. Hickman's sister, Elizabeth Hickman. This probably is not making any sense to you. If not, just dis-regard this note. I apologize for taking up your time, in the event that I have? Sincerely, Darlene/SuzyQ
