I am a big believer in sharing history with others and preserving the memories of our ancestors through our research. I began researching my ancestors about 10 years ago. Most of my relatives are from Kentucky and its surrounding states. I had no idea they would be scattered all over this great nation! And across the Pond...to England!
My main research consists of: - Asher, Hutchins, Davis, Hendrickson, Howard - Druen, Miller, Wheeler, Williams, Sims, Davis - Bowles, Hunter, Long, Anness/Annis, Dickerson
Having the correct facts are the key to the past. Stories are nice, but they change with each generation!
If you see a mistake or duplicate, have a question or whatever, I am glad to help anyway I can. Never hurts to ask...
Mary Chaudoin Sorry to report that she has no existing marker. Her entire burial lot is unmarked, as a matter of fact. Vandalism at some point, perhaps, or maybe they just didn't buy markers. Anyway, I'll add a photo of the burial lot.
RE: Anna Laura Hunter Allen # 140839568 Yes, this site depends on teamwork and collaboration with our relatives/ancestors. What information we might not have, they may, and needs to be added to their memorials.
What a better way to show respect to their lives by linking families together.
I haven't heard back from Peg yet. I will give it a while more before I contact Find A Grave.
Roger and Mattie Skaggs in Magnolia Thanks so much for your efforts in photographing and posting to the memorials of his pair. It helps a great deal to the building of our family tree and to their memory.
