Bio and Links
I am a descendant of the Minor, Cave and Dandridge families who came to Texas in the 1800's. My father George Thomas Cave is the son of Robert Joseph and Susie Lorena Minor Cave of Kaufman County, Texas.

I am also a descendant of the Wright, Hamilton, and Felts families who came to Texas after the Civil War from Georgia and Alabama and from the Woods family who was in NE Texas before the Civil War. My mother Henri Alice Wright Cave is the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Wright and Virginia Mary Hamilton Wright of Lamar County, Texas.

I have no problem sharing any of the photos that I post on Find A Grave. Please feel free to use any of them for your records.

William Victor Wilkerson
Thanks for the suggestion. I already had the one memorial that was transferred from a volunteer, and then I noticed that someone had made another memorial with William's obituary. He had also created a memorial for one of William's sons buried in Stonewall Jackson cemetery with his obituary (Eldridge Wayne Wilkerson). I will contact that volunteer and request to merge William's memorials.

Thanks for adding Sarah's parents and brother. I believe that her parents are buried in the Mountain cemetery at Peaksville in Bedford Co. but have no documentation of this.

RE: George Cave
Great....I have another relative in there, I will put details on later. It was because George got on so well with his brother in law he wanted to lie close to him in the churchyard.

RE: George Cave
Its a churchyard....the name of the Church is The Church of St. Mary Magdalene.

To imagine this place.....its a lonely church set behind sand dunes.

George and Estella are high on a bank overlooking the church and churchyard with their back to the sand dunes and sea.

I think I sent you a picture of the grave didnt I? I have a more recent one taken last year with it all cleared and looking tidy.

"The church of St. Mary Magdalene stands proudly on the sand dunes welcoming all. Parts of the old church date back to 1150AD. Inside there are items of historical interest, whilst outside the headstones tell their own stories of sorrow, fame and fortune. Lord Cave, Earl of Richmond and a Lord Chancellor, was buried there in 1928."
