I am Ronald and Emma Veaseys' daughter Christy A. Veasey. My parents were the sweetest couple and when Dad died of Agent Orange it was miserable for Mom. Mom lived 14 years and 11 days after Dad. She is with him now for eternity. I miss them both so much.
I have 2 stars in the sky that are very close to one another and those are my parents. I wish I could see them again. | |

I've thought about you through the last couple of weeks. We've had really cold weather down here for a good week and the week prior, lots of rain. I've not gotten out of the house much except to shop for necessities. I am hoping once this next rain stops we will have better weather so I can over to Girard and look up the gravesites. I'm sorry I haven't been able to do so before this, and I imagine you have wondered if I was still planning to do so. I am... just to let you know.
I hope you are well also. Please let me know when you plan on coming this way and we will get together. I did email you back; I hope you got that email.

Good to hear from you.
Yes, it is sad what $35 will not do when it comes to flowers. But, with the flower shop delivering, that probably subtracted from what you wanted in flowers.
I know Girard cemetery and it is easily accessible. Let me know where your family members are and I'll run over there and get photos for you.
Next time you come to town, please look me up if you have the time. We can go have a cup of coffee or something. I'll send you my phone # by private email.

I found a list for Ft Benning interments and have been adding from that list to the Findagrave website. Ft Benning is a pet project at this point, to get all the names listed and eventually photographs of all the markers. Since they are your parents, I will happily transfer them to you. | | |
