Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an Australian family historian interested in military history, particularly WW1. Trips to France/Belgium in 2003 & 2015 and Gallipoli in 2009 to pursue family links have further fueled my interests. Visiting the graves of two relatives in France was a wonderful and moving experience for me. I also took photos of other Australian graves while visiting CWG cemeteries. I am uploading these as I find time. I am also adding short biographical profiles of soldiers to memorial pages taken from army records at the Australian War Memorial & Australian Archives.

Private Norman James Morgan

I can't begin to tell how much I appreciate you taking the time to find Norm's grave and send the photo. He was my husbands great uncle, and with my husband being retired Australian Army it means a great deal to him and his sisters. So once again you have my deepest gratitude.

William S Shaddick
Dear Andrew,
Thank you kindly for the photo, William Stanton Shaddick was born in 1886 York, Western Australia. He is my 2nd cousin Cousin twice removed and I have a lot of information on him including a copy of his photo and a war diary which contains the time William was shot. I think you've made my long research complete, again thank you.
Regards, Dave.
