Thank you so much for sponsoring this treasured Memorial for Caroline Elizabeth Kinnison Dickinson. Dr. Samuel Burling and his wife Caroline Elizabeth Kinnison Dickinson, were early settlers before Texas became a Republic. We are endebted to them for our rich heritage and much wonderful family history.
Great granddaughter, Ella Faye Flenniken Johnson, descended from their 9th child Reverend Samuel Abel and Laura Ann Finley Dickinson and their 3rd child Mary Ellen Dickinson Flenniken.

Hello Mr. McKee, To introduce myself, my maiden name is Clement and I am the Great Granddaughter of Louis B. Clement and Rachel E. Hollabaugh Clement. Their son, Floyd H., is my Grandfather. I'm not sure if or how you are related to the Hollabaughs but I suppose that may mean we are distant cousins. I have been doing genealogy for several years and I believe I have information on the Clement and Hollabaugh families you may not have or possibly just haven't had the time to input. I've been trying to fill out some of the cemetery info of my family trees on Find A Grave recently. If you will check on Louis B's Memorial page you will find a photo circa 1909-10 of three of his and Rachel's children. I would like to expand the information regarding their children and I believe you are the only one having that access. I may also have info on Rachel's siblings that are not listed on another memorial. I am very pleased to find you have a link to the Hollabaughs with more generations back that I did and would love to have more info on that part of the family if you would be willing to share it. I look forward to your response. - Karen

Hi Tom, Thanks for letting me know of the error in the obituary of William Olen Burgess Find A Grave Memorial# 103430348 on spelling Seagoville wrong in the two places on the memorial. I have corrected the error. Thanks for letting me know.

Hollabaugh Cemetery is on private property.
I set an appointment with Landowner for this morning and met him on the LARGE farm.
Old biblical saying seek and ye shall find - also sometimes you have to up the mountain.
We went up the "mountain" in an old pick up truck, my car could not have made it, and there amoung the big and little trees is the cemetery.
I purposely picked a sunny morning, so that the sun would light up the old stones. Still, some chalk was definitely required. You will see that I have taken photos of all stones left that have letters. Two of Jacob's children are there too. Enjoy.

Not directly related, but through marriage. William(1858-1945)'s wife was a sister-in-law to my GG grand uncle's wife. I've seen Anthony's name listed as Peter Anton in other family trees, but haven't seen anything but Anthony in the records on ancestry. There is a passenger list with that name, but I wasn't sure it was him on that record so I didn't use it. On another note, I made some memorials today which might be of use to you. They were for Mary Sophia Schaefer-Memorial# 125003559 and her husband John A Terhaar--Memorial# 79873813. I had previously recorded the plot, but didn't have first names, until today. The individual gravestone photos were taken today in the snow, which will have to be replaced after the snow melts, but the group photo is good. They are another relationship to me through marriage, via Loretta(1897-1977)'s husband, a cousin of my cousin's wife.

I made corrections for you. Sorry, I took the photo a year ago and I can not remember now who was around her. Let me know if you ever want any other memorials.
