My research is mainly in Shine, Hall, McCay, Straley, Paynter, Reed, Collins, Barnett, Ballinger, Wolf, Phillips, Stafford family lines. Some of these lines start in Germany, Scotland- Ireland, and England. Some of the lines come to the US right after Jamestown from England, the ones from Ireland-Scotland come around 1700. The Germans come around 1740 and 1803. Many fought for their independence or religious freedoms in the USA or there Mother County. | |

Thanks for picture #58878494. It is one of the few documenta we have for her children that were born in the 1850's since she died prior to the 1860 census. We have problems verifying info but I will not explain the info that led us to this grave or the one that is beside her-#42038174 Rachel wife of Abigah Rice. We believe this is Rachel Jones mother but would like to know who added the info Jones Rice family plot or if this came from records held by the cemetery? How do you contact the cemetery to inquire about records. By the way http://www.cemeteries-madison-co-in.com/ is for Pioneer Cemeteries and their stories Madison County, In-I saw the reference in a message and it is not a cemetery but a website. Also picture of Rachel wife of Abigah Rice and records for Rachel listed in the Gilmore cemetery site.
In case you are ever curious Rachel the wife of abijah you surely saw beside Rchel wife of Samuel Jones-#46102344 is a grave for Abigah Rice however I believe the date is not right for his death-he and Rachel had children after 1811! His record is also at the site i listed in the Broadbent, Hartman, Hartwell Hill Farm. Now if families read the public emails the info is there.

Yes I think we should leave John as a Barnett as his marker indicates. Just struck me as odd. John is buried between Elizabeth E Barnett and his Mother Hattie Green.
My wife and I took on the project of updating the records of Hop and photographing all the markers that are left and putting them on Find A Grave. I think we have it complete as to the markers. There are several spaces and missing stones.
I hadn't heard of the Salem H S record. (Historical Society.. I was thinking of High School.) Can you provide me a copy of it? Is it digital? I have a complete file for Hop on pdf if you are interested. That may be what the Society sent you as I gave them a copy, but add to mine now and then.

Thanks for info on the wrong photo for Hattie (John Green). Am I right to say that I should delete Hattie F. Barnett along with the wrong picture?
Hattie is a Green and has her memorial already?
