Chris, I modified the information on Thomas' memorial; upon checking, I realized his parents or relationship to Euphemia is NOT proven! Do you have any thoughts on this?
|msimonds||RE: transfer of memorial|
The transfers are complete. If there are other relatives that I manage, I would be happy to transfer them to you.

|Brien Gibson||Dillavou Cemetery - Nancy Dickey|
I forgot to ask you a question. You show Nancy's full name as Nancy (Love) Dickey. Was her maiden name part of the cemetery records or did someone request an edit?
|Brien Gibson||RE: Dillavou Cemetery|
Chris, how I'm related gets to be a little complicated, but I will give it my best shot.
One of my third great grandfathers was Abner Gibson who married Martha (Wilson) Dickey. Apparently Martha's husband died and left her with about five children, one of them was David Dickey. David was a half-brother of my second great grandfather.
The Gibsons, Hays, and Dickeys were related via various marriages and were playing leap frog with each other as they moved westward. It looks like David and Nancy Dickey were the first to land in Greene County, Iowa circa 1870. The Abner Wilson Gibson family, the Robert Stuart Gibson family, and the William J. Pritchard family (inlaws) soon followed. A number of the Gibsons are buried in Greene County and Carroll County, including Hazel (Gibson) Hufferd and her husband Otis who are buried in Dillavou. Hazel was a daughter of Abner Wilson Gibson.
Thanks for letting me use the photo.

Chris, may I copy your photo of Nancy Dickey's (#123539233) headstone to my private tree on Ancestry.com?
Thanks for consideration.
