RE: Old Methodist
You can upload them, no problem. I only ask that you not share them with anyone without my permission. People take things, then publish, without the permission of the owner.

That's all I ask.

Please don't publish without my consent or give to others without my consent.

I have been burned three times by sharing my research with others over the years, and finding my research, word for word, in THEIR BOOKS ! I also got burned with a few photos a few years ago - never giving credit to me whatsoever.

That is called plagerism, stealing, theft, etc. You steal from someone and call it your own.

:)

RE: Old Methodist
I hired a guy living on the land of the cemetery to drive his tractor through heavily-wooded land for almost 1/2 mile in....and then to take photos.

As you can see, these might be the last photos of these tombstones ever taken, as the jungle of foilage seems to be overtaking over the stones.

As for the photos of Daniel and Jane - - I have a 75-year old cousin who was handed down photos from her family lines years ago. Her grandmother (and my great grandmother) was Lina Newell, who was a great grandaughter of Daniel and Jane (Boyd) Robbins.

Again - the most interesting thing about the two photos is....you are looking at two people who were born in the late 1700's !!! That, in itself, is incredible !

I have been burned badly in the past sharing genealogy "stuff" with people, who used my material and never credited me as the source. And I thought long and hard about even posting these photos - - knowing people could upload and take them from me, and use them for their own books - - again, without crediting me as the source. Long story, but I just refuse to allow it anymore ! I do all the work - and people benefit from my work, calling it their own.

Not happening anymore.

Steve
