RE: Re:Nicholas Winkler
Good evening Lori-You are so welcome for what little bit I have done on this family. Genealogy is my passion as well and I wish I could spend all day almost every day on it. Let me email my cousin in Tx. and see where the pages came from and send that info on to you. I am so glad to find someone else searching a family that is linked with mine. And I'm so sorry you have had such a rough start to this year. Makes me thankful mine has been no worse than it has been.Do you have info on Caroline Palmer who married John Cay? if not-I will be glad to share my info with you. My email is:mcharmonkidd@yahoo.com. Just put in the subject Winkler/Cay so i won't spam it. Have you been in touch with any one in Guyton, Ga. about who is buried at the cemetery there?

RE: Re:Nicholas Winkler
He is the second great grandfather of Caroline Elizabeth palmer who was the wife of John Eugene Cay. Now John is/was my 3rd cousin once removed. My cousin - who lives in Texas-had the pages from I believe online that listed all buried in Bonaventure. She knew who I was searching for in Savannah on my fathers side and sent me pages that had anyone buried there that might be connected.
Who did you ask? Someone in the office? Also-for your information as you may not know-Shadrach Winkler list in his last will and testimont his good friend Abram Harmon. Abram is my second great gramdather.
May I ask what relationship you are to the Winkler family?
