Dear Mr. Wagnon,
You may wish to adjust the spelling on your transcription of the name for Arrrabella Ochiltree Bancroft. You have it listed as Arrabel, which might cause others looking for her grave to miss it.
Thank you for what you do.

Correction, I meant to say Carroll Short's wife was Texia Ingram, not his mother!!
|Susan I. Grills||Grave memorial Carroll Short|
Joel, I am very distantly related. Carroll's mother was born Texia Ingram Ballard. His grandmother was born Clementine Texas Ingram, daughter of William Ingram & wife Ann Bryan. Ann's youngest brother David was my gggrandfather and I have created a large database with all the Bryans. I am actually a little closer connected. My great-grandfather J. Sidney Bryan was orphaned as a small child. His aunt and uncle Ann & Wm. Ingram got custody of him and he moved from GA to TX with them in 1850 and grew up there, although he returned to GA as an adult.

I see a photo of his wife Selena, by chance do you know if there is a marker of Henry 1-30-1848 to 12-5-1928.
Hi, Joel. Could you please correct the name you have for memorial #49459490? You have it as D R Christopher, but it's actually D C Christopher. His full name is Demarcus Coleman Christopher and he was born in Halifax County, VA according to his stone. Thanks.

|Deb||RE: Flat Stones|
Thank you for noticing the comments on the entries I did in this cemetery. I had wondered why the other major contributor to this cemetery did only the upright markers ... I soon found out why! The flat markers are "almost all" covered by at least some sand, dirt, or 6 inches of mud (depending on location within the cemetery grounds). This is suppose to be a perpetual care cemetery, meaning the graves are to be well kept. The do mow and weed eat and edge it yes. But they do not clean off the debris afterward. Nor do they clean off the layers of mud/sand that washes over the markers after it rains. There are numerous graves that I couldn't get a photo of (at all) because they were completely covered by literally 6 inches of mud/dirt; only the flower vases sticking up showed there was a grave there. I've had some tell me "take a whisk broom with you and clean them first" ..... sorry but my back would be broke the first 30 minutes out if I did that in this cemetery! And in some cases you'd literally need a shovel!
I was hoping the photos would bring this issue to the notice of some of the family members who have loved ones here. I did see one man cleaning his loved ones area one time after I posted the first pics. I often wonder IF he saw the photos I posted and came out as a result ....

|James Sullivan||RE: William Henry Links|
I suspect we are cousins. My name is James Brant Sullivan and I live in Arlington Virginia with my Wife and 3 sons. My Great Grandmother is Mozelle Beck who married Obie Henry, the oldest son of Andrew Jackson Henry. My Great Grandmother moved to Virginia when I was in High School and I could not get enough of her stories of growing up in Shelby County, Texas. She entrusted me with many family pictures and stories. I am attempting to share the information I have, to benefit existing and future Family members. I would be happy to send you some pictures of William Alfred Henry if you are kin. Please give me an email address and I will forward them. Best Wishes James Brant Sullivan
