Hi Amber----I am so glad to hear from you. Yes, your grandmother Valeta was my best friend growing up. Actually she was the sister I never had and your great grandmother Jo was like a second mother to me. Your grandmother Valeta and I did everything together, we ate at each others houses, we stayed all night together, we went to church together, we dated together (not each other) and I have great, wonderful memories of the Chrisman family. I know your dad was named Mike but I never got to meet him. I saw your Aunt Doris when she was a baby and at Valeta's funeral. After Valeta and I got married, we were separated by distance and family. I knew your Grandfather, Kenny and I even dated his cousin, Wayne for awhile. Please contact me, I'd love to tell you anything I know about your Chrisman family. I have so many stories. I will send you an e-mail tomorrow evening as AI will be out of town tomorrow. J. Larsen

We looked today for Caroline. We could not find ANY headstones with that name on there. However Chris Orr (McCune descendant) says they are there he just doesn't know where. The cemetery was heavily vandelized in 1995 and some of the headstones got thrown off the bridge into White Oak Creek. Sorry about that. We are discussing about going to look about August when the water is way down. I will let you know. Kathy
I will look for her when I am down there this week. I had no idea that cemetery was there. It is the family cemetery of one of our best friends. He took us down there this last Saturday. I about had kittens when I saw it. It's kind of in bad shape. I will look for Caroline when we go down there later this week. It is pretty remote and we have to wait for it to dry up. I did take a pic of the grave of 5 unknown civil war soldiers when I was there. I made a memorial on the McCune cemetery site. I had some more kittens when I saw that. It may take a week or so to dry out. The cemetery is right on Red Oak Creek. It is pretty wet.
Amber, I finally got your request done on here. I did look for another Barbara Christman but didn't find any others.

I am happily transferring the memorials to you to add the info you have, since I have no attachments to them. Keep up the good work - you are a great asset to Find A Grave.

I do not know of other markers in McCune Cemetery. I will be happy to add whatever info you wish. If you are kin to the person I'd be happy to transfer them to you or make the changes as you wish....
I didn't notice it but I will go back when I have a chance. It's not far from me at all.

Elmer-Son of T.E. & L.E. Crisman 4/6/1900-4/20/1900
Freda - Dau. of T.E. & L.E. April 1912
Sorry to be so slow but the weather has been pretty bad here--in the 40's today.
I have a son buried in the same cemetery with other relatives.
