|Texas Two Step||RE: garriott connection|
the website you are most likely looking at is Doug Garriott out of San Antonio Texas. It is the best for being outside of ancestry.com by far.
I have probably the largest....tree on ancestry for the garriott clan....and alway looking to expand.
I love photos...connections..etc...and I am very curious as to whom...your husband is ..and his side of the family.
if you could be so kind...as sharing with me some...
I would love to hear from him...or you...
and I am always willing to share...my tree.

I found your site...and would love to chat a few about "garriotts"...as I am one...
|Tim Prestage||Stone Family Marker|
We looked for your requested markers today and did not locate any individual markers. However, we did locate a family marker for John and Annie Lyles Stone. It has all their children and spouses listed with birth and death dates. If you will give me an email address I will send you the photos.

We found a grave marked Elizabeth Emerson Reid with a date of 4/24/1898. Her husband is on the stone is listed as Effingham L Reid 4/26/1889 2/18/1951. If this is the grave you are looking for let me know.

Do you mind if I add your comment to her bio?
|Marcia McKown Hummel||RE: Lydia A (Gregg) Rutter, Garriott|
Aha! Thanks for the update! Guess I'm naturally nosey, but I always wonder about the back-story for the folks whose stones I photograph.
|Marcia McKown Hummel||Lydia A. Garriott|
I FINALLY found her grave today--3rd time was the charm. Section 10, plot 16, according to the directory turned out not to be that easy to find! Actually, I had walked past it the 2 previous times because it did not say Garriott.
There are 2 graves just south of a big marker that says "Rutter" and nothing else. The first small stone to the south says" Lydia A, 1868-1956, Mother". The second one says "Abner F, 1867-1923, Father". I took photos of all 3 of these stones. Don't know how you want me to handle this. Was Rutter her married name or is it just a coincidence that it's next to Lydia & Abner's stones. I can only believe, since the stones are identical, that Lydia and Abner were married.
