Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy is my wife's passion; however, I enjoy it, too. I've taken my family history back many generations. My father's family is originally from France and the name was spelled "Guemann" and sometimes "Guymann." They immigrated to Ohio in the early 1850's. That is where my father was raised. He moved to Iowa, married, and raised his family.

I look forward to adding the names of my deceased relatives to this site and honoring them through the Memorials.

I am also eager to be a photo volunteer and go to local cemeteries and take pictures of headstones. (Photography is MY passion!)

RE: Howard Roderick Payne
Yes, through the Payne family tree. Why do you ask. My Great Grandmother was Matilda Ensley, the last of the siblings listed for William Payne and Matilda Perkins. Are you related to me through the family ties.

Howard Payne
Thank you for catching the misspelling in his name. I usually proof read the obituary for spelling errors, missed this one. Oops. Again, Thank you.

Margaret K. Sadler
Jean,

If your real question is whether Margaret was the wife of William Sadler, I can answer it. She most definitely was. After William's death, she married again to (2) Daniel Bradley. She was Margaret Susan Cornell, daughter of John Nelson Cornell and Sarah Buchanan. We have pictures of both of them. If you are needing help on the Cornell line, we definitely have more information.

Mark,

I have never been to either Arkona or Thedford Baptist Cemeteries, but I do know a relative who has and who provided me the information to post. She marked Margaret's listing as one she saw, and maybe she will recall the arrangement.

Hopefully I can get an answer for you. I'll bet going out there right now would not be very pleasant.

RE: Rhoda Curran's Obituary
Heaven's sake no, your information wasn't redundant (as you say). I appreciate any help I can get in researching my families...even if I already have the info. It means a lot to me that somebody else would think to assist me. God bless you.

RHODA CURRAN
Mark: Thanks for thinking of me to notify me of the obituary for Rhoda Curran. I already had a copy of the obituary though. Are you by any chance related and that was why you knew about the obituary?

Wrong info with stone
Mark, you have the wrong information associated with Maurice G. Jodry (Maurice Geoffery that passed in 2010)
The elder Maurice Gustave was his great grandfather.

Rice Cemetery in Dover, Ky
Hi Mark,
Captain John Rice buried in the Rice cemeterey is my great-great-great grandfather. Do you know how to find this cemetery? I am heading for Dover in about a week.
Thanks so much!
