RE: Frank Gels
Robert, if you would be willing, we would love to have the map of Section 50 Part 2 so that it is easy for someone to fulfill future requests in that area. Runner9 is collecting them all, and he can give you an address to which to send a high-resolution scan. It would be much appreciated, since Calvary is a gorgeous, charming, important, and VAST place with different numbering schemes for each irregularly-shaped section and unusually large sections, as well as many unmarked graves. It's a little like 150 regular-size cemeteries all together. Love it... awed by it.

Frank Gels
Hi Robert - wow, great directions. I was able to follow your description easily. I positioned myself in the middle of Part 2 and headed up the hill, about 1/3 way up, and found a stone marked #3329. From there I counted over 7 graves in either direction, but no Frank Gels. I've uploaded photos of the area and of where I think he is, and added detailed captions in case you or anyone else wants to go there. So, I think you can confidently count his grave as unmarked. Since all the babies and children around him also died in 1923, I we have the right spot. There are very few markers around him, so he is with many others who were most surely loved but not marked with a stone.
