RE: Howland
I wish I had the the answer to even one of your questions, but I'm afraid I don't. Very sorry.

Amanda Ramsey
I believe I found Amanda in Kishwaukee Cemetery which is located just a few miles from New Milford Cemetery. The Find A Grave# 29771190. The inscription reads: "Eliza A. wife of J. Ramsey died June 19, 1859 age 25yr, 5m, 3ds." The death date and age matches up with the information that you have. The death date and age would make the birth date Jan. 16, 1834. I also checked the Winnebago County Marriage Index and it shows an Addison Ramsey married Eliza A. Munger on Oct. 6, 1855. So the name also matches up. The only discrepancy appears to be "J. Ramsey". Perhaps he had a middle name that began with J and he may have gone by that name at one time. If I find anything more, I will let you know.

Hi Ms Woodall,

Of course, you may use the photo, I'm glad to help. Would it be possible to let me know how to get a copy of your book when published?

Thanks,

Tom Stanley

RE: Henry E. and Bertha Savage Agar
Sorry, I have no pictures of the Agar's not already posted. Henry E isn't my family that I can link, just an interesting story, hence I posted.

RE: William H. Sherman
Hi Natalie, thank you so much for your reply and the helpful suggestions to help me look deeper into his past. As for Charles Sherman I have no relation to him, but thank you for asking. I am going to take your advice and look at the list...I might have other relatives lurking in there :) I hope everything continues to go well with the book :)

William H. Sherman
Ms.Natalie,

How are you? I couldn't help, but over-read your conversation with Mr.Chet Coles about Robert Dresser's burial and the NYS 110th Infantry Division and was wondering if you have any information on William H. Sherman (1843-1863)? I've been doing my family genealogy and just began to do research on William H. Sherman who was part of the NYS 110th and died of Typhoid fever in 1863 in Louisiana. He is my 3rd Great Grand Uncle and he was born and raised in Oswego, NY.

I realize I pushed my nose into your conversation and seeing the connection of the NYS 110th and not knowing all the facts...I was wondering if you had any information on him and if you did, could you share it with me? I would also appreciate if you would let me know when the book is published, so I could use it as a reference/purchase if his name is to be mentioned?

Thank you and I hope I didn't seem rude by this message.
