RE: re:Rev.Herman Amend
Here is an excerpt from the FAQ section regarding memorials:
"Before adding a memorial, you should search the cemetery to see if a record with that name has already been added."

Which I did, and found none.

"In regard to duplicates, a memorial with a correct known burial location will always be preferred over an unknown burial location."

I did what was required of me per the site recommendations.

RE: re:Rev.Herman Amend
I know why I didn't see your memorial... it was not associated with a cemetery. I only checked Zion cemetery listing. I think it is unfair of you to call me out on the duplication when there was no duplicate listing at the Zion cemetery...

RE: re:Rev.Herman Amend
Tammy,
I did look for Amend and found nothing. My guess is the variations of the spelling tripped me up even though I knew to look for them. I do not understand how I missed that since there are so few people buried in that cemetery.

I have been in your shoes and would never do that to someone else.

Noisseau had requested pictures of a couple of her family buried at Zion. I took the pictures, saw there were more people with similar last name, took those photos as well. I looked to see if the newest pictures were listed already, found nothing so set up the memorials. Then Noisseau indicated they were her relatives as well, so I transferred them to her.

Sorry for the mix up,
Barbara

RE: re:Rev.Herman Amend
I'm new at creating FindAGrave memorials, but I've been doing genealogy for several years. It kind of didn't occur to me until now that I could make my own memorials! ;-)

I didn't mean you have to delete yours, but you could look at mine and update your cemetery and such, if you want to.

Though we're not more closely related, it's always nice to meet a fellow genealogist!

Thanks
Lauren

Re: Am End family
Hello,

I see that you have created memorials for Rev. Herman Am End and his wife. Are you related to them? I'd love to meet someone else from the family!

Herman Am End was the younger brother of my g-g grandfather, Friedrich Wilhelm Am End.

Thanks
Lauren

ps-- Here's the link to the Am Ends I manage:

You put a picture on findagrave for Leola Mae Bawcum Flynn Brown-and I'm wondering if she is on a headstone or if her 2nd husband Thomas Brown is listed with her ? Is there any way you can check your records ? Thanks

Virginia Flo Barnhill Rusert
Hi! Tammy, Was wondering if you would transfer Virginia to me? She is my husband's Aunt (his Dad's sister). Trying to get the family members linked together. Thank you, Debra

Benjamin F. Goodman, Seaton Cemetery
Hi Tammy: I noted that we have a duplicate for Benjamin Franklin Goodman. He is buried in the Seaton Cemetery, Maries Co. There is also a Benjamin F. Goodman, burial unknown attached to Virginia Goodman in same Cemetery. I am not related, and will be happy to transfer memorial to you so info can be combined. Please email me at blackw@fidnet.com. Thank you. Wanda

RE: Re: John Melzer Photo
Did you get the message about Dorothy Melzer? I have not been able to find her grave but on the right side of John is a grave without a head stone or any kind of a marker. You can tell there has been someone buried there. I have got to get by the city hall and look at the cemetery map and I should know for sure then. I will get back with you.
