I am currently a Computer Educator in a Middle School, a husband, a father of 2 beautiful little girls, and a baby boy. I have been working on Ancestry for our family off and on since I was 10 when my grandparents started the quest to fill out our family tree. I love to find new pieces to our family tree and help others in their "detective" work.

Lorraine Richardson headstone
I have a photo of Lorraine's marker. It's a companion with Joseph and Joseph's full DOB is on the marker. I do not want to post the photo without having his DOB blurred out.

I do not know how to blur the dates. If you tell me how to do it (using Paint or Irfanview) I'll be able to post the photo.

BTW, videos on this topic are worse than worthless!

RE: Calby at Holy Cross
Joe, I'll get what I have together and send you an email. I know that Thomas Calby, the emigrant patriarch, was born in Longford, Ireland. The Gaelic spelling of the town is Cloondara. Bridget (Healy) Calby came from Drumacoo, County Galway, Ireland.

RE: Calby at Holy Cross

Anna is the aunt of my mother-in-law, Jeannie Calby Nanopoulos. Her father was Joseph Calby, Anna's brother.

Thomas F. McCusker; Holy Redeemer Cemetery
I'm not related, but I thought you'd like his death notice information for his page.

His death certificate gives his parents' names as Felix McCusker and Catharine Daley, both born in Ireland.

The Philadelphia Press; Monday, January 7, 1907, Page 13:

"McCUSKER On January 4, 1907, THOMAS F., husband of Linda McCusker. Relatives and friends, St. Michael's Young Men's Society and St. Edward's Young Men's Society and employees of the American Ice Co., Station 11; Ice Drivers' Union, No. 1, and all organizations of which he was a member, are invited to attend the funeral, on Tuesday, at 8.30 A. M., from his late residence, 2620 North Hutchinson St. Solemn Requiem Mass at St. Edward's Church, at 10 A. M. Interment at Holy Redeemer Cemetery."

Calby at Holy Cross
Curious about your Calby memorials at Holy Cross? Are you related through Anna (Calby) Doebley?

Catherine & Sarah were the sisters of my wife's grandfather, Joseph Calby.
