I was just curious if you were related to Cause Hixon. I seen the token you left with some personal information about him so I thought you might be.
I was curious if you knew how many children he had.

Wish I could help, but I don't have any info at all that pertains to Samuel. I know how frustrating that can be as I've hit many dead ends myself without being able to find any documentation. My direct ancestor was Mahala Davis who married Albert Pierce. They lived in Jefferson County, Tennessee. Good luck in your search. Mary

I saw your message to Julia Alling Adams about Matilda Davis Adams father Samuel D Adams. I am Matilda and James Adams Sr's great-great-grandson. I would appreciate any information you have on Samuel as my grandmother Dora Adams family history had no mention of Matilda's parents.
Hello, I noticed that you stopped by my grandfathers page a little while back. Carl W. Hixon was the father of my mother. I have searched for information for many years on the Hixon's and since my line is almost gone I would love to talk to someone who knows more about it. My mother just passed in December and myself, my daughter and I have one aunt still living is all that is left (my Hixon's did not have alot if any children).

Thank you for sending the name of Matilda Davis Adams's father. Because I had not known it before, I don't have information about where he or either of his wives is married.
I do have most of the Hixon clan out of Tenn. and a lot of them in Indiana, but most are a bit earlier then Nancy. I actually have almost 30,000 family members linked. (Which Hixon was Nancy married to ??. There are two seperate lines that come out of the Tenn. area).

Hello Harry: I am still researching all our Hixson - Hixon - Hickson clan. Can you tell me how these fit into the tree amongst those in Summit View Cemetery:
Dr. A.C. and Mrs. Hixon He died: 05-13-1922
Augusta Hixon b. 11-11-1850 and d. 01-04-1902
and in other queries - Who is Nancy Ellen Hixon.
Thanks so much, Tom

I was passing Guthrie, OK today and stopped at the Summit View Cemetery. I took photos of all the Hixon headstones I could find. Two of the Hixons (A. C. Hixon d. 1922 and Mrs. A. C. Hixon d.1920) did not have markers.
This is a large cemetery and I missed three Hixons (Augusta Hixon d. 1902, Avery Hixon d. 1936, and Lula Hixon d. 1891).
Of those that I located and took photos, I have already posted them to Find-A-Grave. If you would like to have any of them transferred to you, just let me know.

I took the liberty of transferring Nancy Hixon to you. Now, you will see on her page an edit feature. What you can do, if you like, is to post information about her life, family and friends. Also, if you like, I'll be glad to transfer your other relatives to you. Recently a fellow poster transferred numerous relatives to me and likewise, I'm glad to do that for others.
Claiborne Cemetery is somewhat rural to say the least. Was your family from that area? My relatives on my Mother's side were all from that area, Sullivan Co. Indiana. Any surname Marshall and most Johnson's in that cemetery are relatives. I concentrated on Claiborne and Long's Chapel cemeteries, which are close together.
Please let me know about the other names. It may take me a day or two but I'll be glad to transfer them.
