|Ben & Diane||Matilda Canfield|
This person is in the wrong cemetery (see note left on page by family member). She is in Prospect Hill GLOVERSVILLE. Please relocate. Thanks
|B Bedford ||RE: Mrs. L Canfield TS photos|
Your welcome. It appears that they are waiting for the actual stone to be put in place. The cemetery closes Nov 1st so I will check back at the end of October to see if it has and then get you another picture if so.
|Tina Adams||RE: Andrew Canfield TS photo|
I did not take the photo. The person who took the photo emailed you.
|Lori||RE: Upside down photo of TS|
Please send the name of the memorial you are referring to. Thanks, Lori

If you will contact the Rose Hill Burial Park office and find the section and lot, I would be happy to take a picture for you

|Richard Stauff||Emmette Louise "Meta" (Voorhees) Canfield|
Marker shows mother Vitella and her children Meta and Frank.
Vitella's husband, likewise Meta and Frank's father, was Benjamin S Voorhees. Data confirmed from Meta and Byron H Canfield's marriage license. "Meta" was a nickname as her full name was Emmette Louise (Voorhees) Canfield. Vitella's maiden name was Miller.
|MaLisa Fender Rembowski||Re: Anna Elizabeth Rembowski Canfield|
Hi, would you happen to have any information on Anna Elizabeth Rembowski Canfield? I am not having much luck finding anything.
I'm back in Utah but checked my SD card and had a photo of Joyce and Vern plus his military stone. Unfortunately Mary Canfield was in another section.
Hopefully someone else will get out there before next Memorial day.
|Lynne||RE: Bird TS's in Hillside Cem.|
There are 6 members of the Bird family entombed here as well as a stillborn child in 1905. The Birds were a wealthy family and I was told they had an estate on Crompond Road, apparently a seasonal home. It's rather to see the state of disrepair of this and other mausoleums in the cemetery. There is no one left of these old families to maintain them.

I am more than happy to do any research/photos you wish at Portland Memorial Mausoleum.
