|Janet Knepper||Cole Canfield|
I'm Sorry! I should have checked the Find A Grave records first.
I see that Cole is the only Canfield left to photo. There is no record in Forest Lawn Cemetery for Cole Canfield, but his obituary in Saginaw's geneology site shows him buried in Forest Lawn.
I'll keep an eye out for him while I'm taking photos!

I noticed that you have a note on Cole Canfield's photo request asking for photos of any/all Canfields in Forest Lawn Cemetery. You also asked if you should enter each request individually. The answer is yes. Forest Lawn Cemetery has over 42,000 people buried there and covers over 40 acres so the plots are spread out over a large area.
I tend to try to take all of the requests from one section to photo for one day because it takes me approximately an hour to find, clean, and photo the headstone/plot in question. (I also take photos of any other people in the same plot at the same time because I've found that most of them are usually related to the person in the request) so...that hour is spent on just one photo request. Now add several other requests in the same section and there is my time allotment for the day.
I think that most people do that with Forest Lawn for that reason. I don't mean to 'lecture', just trying to help.

I went to Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saginaw, MI and took photos of Matilda Canfield.. There is also a separate Canfield plot, where I photographed Allie, Irene, Delia and Channey. There is some errors in the information, dates etc.. so I sent a message to the person that set up the memorials.
I saw you have a request for a Cole Canfield. The obit index says he was buried at Forest Lawn, but there is no record of him in the online cemetery records.

You placed a request for photograph of Eliza Canfield back in December 2010, the memorial was recently photographed, thoughts I'd pass this information on to you. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=48842740
Life is good,

I went to Evergreen Cemetery today. I got what I thought was the right grave location Section E, Lot 25. When I went to Section E, I found a grave for Ferdinand Campfield, not Canfield. I thought this was the right person, but now I don't think so.
I will return to Evergreen within the next week and find the right grave.
Have a good day.

I have loaded the photo for Fannie. The marker is very faint and is much easier to read in person

You are very welcome, I also took other Canfield photos when I was there. Merry Christmas.
|Paul Sutton Kamalsky||RE: Dear Paul,|
You are very welcome. No snow when I photographed the stones
but we got a snowstorm that left 5 inches Saturday morning. It
was not a Canfield that we know in common. I believe an historian
you contacted told me about Mary Grace
Merry Christmas, Paul

Your very welcome. :)

I am sorry to say that I did not, as far as I can recall. Sometimes
the email fails to come to me, something I found out only a short
while ago. I had this problem with another email I used but did not
think it ever happened with Yahoo email. Now I find that some of
it is going to SPAM and so I never empty spam without checking it
