I can remember driving past where they were buried back in the 70's...it was heavily wooded and weeded. Over the next few years, it was cleared and developed. It was not until Rick Allen from the Ocala Star-Banner called me up one day, we went exploring. He knew it was around there somewhere, but he did not have an exact location. I showed him the 4 cemeteries that I was aware of, but not this one. It was quite by accident that he found it. He was talking to someone and they said there, right on top of that hill...and there it was. Click on the map link and then blow up the area...go to google maps or street scenes or something and there you can look at it live...

You may have anything that you need...His and his wife's markers were VERY elusive for a long time...it was a miracle that they were found...

Sure I'd love to go back to Glen Cove (our favorite lunch spot is close by) but I had foot surgery two weeks ago and am still on a walker. As soon as my doctor gives me the okay I'll run by there and I don't want any gas money or lunch for it. I simply do it to help people like you.
Send me a list of family members and I will search them out. I have a book with all the old burials but there is an office there where I could locate your family.

I have been trying to figure out how she died since I started doing my tree. I sure wish I would of asked my grandfather before he passed away. I haven't been able to locate the death record but I think she died in 1890 in either Morgan County or Noble County. I wrote one of those county court houses (can't remember which) and asked for information but never heard back. One of these days I may take a trip and visit the county court house hoping they have some records. If you find out anything, let me know too please.

Joan, I had to work to get the mud off of it. They have a major problem with moles. However, they are in the process of replanting the entire cemetery and his section is next. If you will request a photo again in 2 months, I should be able to get you a clear clean picture of it. When you do the photo request put a note with it to remind me or let the other person the reason. At this time I am the only person doing requests at this cemetery.
