Bio Photo Although I live in Southern Illinois southern blood runs through these veins. I am proud to say that over 15 ancestors i have found so far fought for the south in the war of northern aggression and only one, James Monroe Patterson, fought for the Yanks. Interesting note James enlisted to fight for the north even though he had two brothers fighting for the south. I hate predjudice not just against races but preconcieved notions for instance just cause i fly this flag i am not an ignorant racist. I really am glad I found this sight and look forward to the doors it may open. I am striving to acquire photos of every known confederate buried in Illinois. If yall have any information please let me know. Deo Devindici

Robert J Christie
I have a listing for Robert J Christie but the birth date on the headstone says 17 June 1831, date of death 27 July 1909. Check your dates and let me know if you think this is him. I am pretty sure it is.

Edward Borden in Beardstown City Cemetery
I have attempted to find an Edward Borden in this cemetery but have been unsuccessful. It is a VERY large cemetery, however. He is not listed in the cemetery census taken in 1998. He may be buried with no headstone, or maybe his headstone was damaged long ago. I will keep an eye out and hopefully I can find him eventually.

Thanks for photographing my relatives grave. I appreciate your kindness. Are you going to put the photo on Lee's memorial page too?

Robert Franklin Lowrance
When I looked at this more closely, I find it's his wife's gravestone, Martha. It says Martha, Wife of R F Lowrance and she died in 1900. He died in 1902. Could you switch it to her memorial page?

Thanks so much for photographing my 2nd Great Grandfather's grave! I really appreciate your kindness. Any chance of putting the gravestone pic right side up?

Thank You
I want to say thank you for all the picture that you had taken for me on my distant relatives graves. It means so much to me that I am able to honor them this way, since I am unable to visit their graves personally.
