My paternal grandmother, Pearl Osborne LaFara, got me interested in family research when I was just a kid. I wish she were still around to enjoy the ease of research using the internet. 'Thank you' to all those that post memorials, the photo contributors and to Find a Grave for the terrific site.
I've been able to link ten generations of my family on Find a Grave, starting with my father, his mother, her father, his father, his father, his father, his mother, her father, his father, his father (Joseph Baldwin, the immigrant.) It represents nearly 400 years, 1609 - 2004.
The photos that I have added to Find a Grave, with a few noted exceptions, are either original photographs I have taken myself, or scanned images from my personal family photo archive. I prefer to share both types of images freely with anyone that has a legitimate use. I do ask that anyone that copies any of my uploaded images on Find a Grave to contact me and let me know where I can view the copied image. | |

 | Sgt. George W. Shaver Hi,
The Shaver Cemetery where he is buried is located on Jackson Road about a mile southwest of Highway 92.
There are several other graves in the cemetery marked by fieldstones.

 | King Cemetery Thanks, Barb, for alerting me to the wonderful photos that Deb submitted for the King Cemetery. By the looks of it, it's no wonder that no one was able to find it. Too bad that the owners of the property or perhaps a county group couldn't adopt it for maintenance purposes. Anyway, it's great what Deb was able to accomplish.

 | Henry King HI. Yes, I live in Fort Wayne and posted to Find A Grave the stones that I read in the Willshire Cemetery about 18 months ago. My partner and I read a very old section in the cemetery that day along the ditch or stream that runs behind the cemetery. I have removed my memorial. Penny | | | Judy Llamas
 | Philip King Barb, Bless you! Thank you for researching the location of Philip's final resting place. The King Family Cemetery has to be the location since he was brought home by his family. I was unaware that he had a daughter - maybe we'll find her some day. This is great news. (I've deleted by memorial for him.) | | | dtthomas37
