I am a Georgia native, living in East Point, Georgia. I have been researching my family genealogy for over 35 years. As I make my cemetery visits, as a show of respect I attempt to photograph and enter any marker showing military service. I presently serve as the President of the East Point Historical Society. If I may be of any help in that area please contact me.|

I recently added a photo of Sgt McCooks grave stone at Greenwood Cemetery in Atlanta to #97158071 managed by Tony. Charles your earlier dated memorial #70072854 is the same person. In other words a duplicate is apparent.

Thank you so much for the transfer! I'm so glad to meet you. I will look at your Ancestry tree.

I noticed you have the memorial for my Grandfather Jesse Luther Gilbert, Jr. #98917706 and would like to know if you would transfer this to me?
I see you have a virtual cemetery for others in my family as well. I'd love to make a connection.
Did you get J.L.'s picture from Ancestry? I'm the person that added it to my tree.
Thanks so much,

Hi there Charles.
We have absolutely no one here in Georgia, but have made loads of friends that have moved away from this area. Love roaming Barrow, Walton and Oconee Counties. So, any memorial to a Georgian is looking for a place to be remembered.
Happy Researching, Bud
PS. Doing this I have received many blessings from other members in Tenn and WVa. BB

Me again sweetie.... Care to transfer Adlisia?
|Cynthia Connelly||Zachariah and Nancy Lipscomb Nance|
Hi sweetie....I was wondering if you'd be willing to transfer Zachariah Jr. and Nancy to me. BTW, Zachariah's whereabouts are actually unknown. Family lore has it that he was thrown from his buggy by a particularly aggressive and muddy pothole in the road. At the tim he was supposedly visiting inlaws, perhaps in Tishomingo County, Mississippi. My search for his burial place continues. Love, Cynthia your daughter (in case any of your Find A Grave friends were wondering whose sweetie you were!)

Glad to make the transfers of all 6 in the cemetery. Enjoy.

So far, there is no marker for Ruby and Alma. We plan to one day have a marker placed, but the economy has placed a strain on our finances, so we have not been able to do so yet. It's been a while since we've been out there, but if I remember correctly there might be a small stone marking the row and plot number.
