-----------
I started researching my family history and its many branches following my Grandfather's death in September of 1992 and haven't stopped yet. Cemeteries are like vast historical libraries, with history all around, with stories just waiting to be told and heard. Everyone should have a headstone, no one should be forgotten, especially the children.

Forest Hill Cemetery - Utica - FAG request
You have a request in F A G for a photo of a grave. The memorial site does not include the Plot and/or Lot numbers which would help easily find the graves you want photographed.

If you will call or email the Forest Hill Cemetery and ask for Plot and Lot information, I would be glad to go there and take the photographs for you.

The office number is 315-735-2701 and their email is fhc1850@msn.com

Once you have the information, please add it to the person’s F A G memorial site and mark it with a “Photo Request” or email me the burial information at frwill48@gmail.com

Please note: If the gravestone is covered in lichen or moss I will attempt to clean them with water and soft soap solution, except for older slate and limestone gravestones. I do not use shaving cream, chalk or abrasives.

Best regards,

Frank

RE: Pic for Leonard Vosburgh @ Oakwood (Syracuse, NY)
No problem - I do think (unfortunately) - that since this section contains individual graves - it does seem (sometimes) that a lot of them are unmarked - very sad..... I guess we'll see!!!

Old Nashville Cemetery
I tried to send you an email message that the location of the Old Nashville Cemetery has been found, but the email was returned as undeliverable at that email address.

The cemetery is located on Meyers Road near the intersection with Gorton Lake Rd. The cemetery is also known as the Maine Cemetery. Is it possible for these two bits of information to be added to cemetery entry?

I took a picture at Fort Plain Cemetery today. The date (there is only one) does not match the memorial.
The picture I have gives a birth date of 1872 and no death date. Is it possible that this is the one you're looking for.
