I am so sorry I haven't replied until now. I just saw your message on the Find A Grave site, which I haven't visited recently, until today. John Johnson was the husband of my 2nd great grandparents' (Benjamin Everson and Sophia Courter) daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Everson Johnson, b. 24 Dec 1862 d. 14 Apr. 1949.
John Johnson was the mayor of Paterson, NJ abt 1906. I have newspaper clippings of when he died. He was still in office in 1907 when he died.
