Today, I found a book of poetry that was published in 1946 entitled

American Poetry 1946

Published by The Paeper Company, and yes printed Paeper with the e.

No other info is in the book. It begins with an Index of Authors in alphabetical order.

Then it has an amazing Photograph section also in alphabetical order.

Then it displays the poems also in order. The book is a Hard Back with 858 pages.

I have googled searched the book on the net, and I can not find it.

I have Amazoned the book, and it shows some reference, but I don't think it's it.

I am sure there's other copies, but oh well, I have one, and I' am going to share

It with you. As of now I can't display a face with the poem, but I may as time goes by.

What I intend to do here and there is track them down. See where the stand today.

This book reminds me of our book, a variety of poets from all over.

And since I love poetry, and poets so much, and want to spark the world of poetry

Ablaze more than it is, I am going to be a Poet Hunter, not full time, but in time,

I hope to revive these poems and poets to you. And if I can find their families, and invite them here. I think it's out of respect, and the love for poetry.

Soon I'll get pictures here, the book itself, and the poets.

The pictures are in black, and white, and there are a bit faded.

This amazes me, I am a time travel fanatic, this is as close as it gets.

Like in Thought Casters class here American Poetry,

I had the privilege to travel back, and grasp with the author Alfonso Newcomer.

I have learned a lot, from that book, I have purchased it as well.

Where I found this book there is more, soon in time I'll have them.
