Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Westmoreland County, Pa. I have been taking tombstone pictures since 2009 of tombstones in Westmoreland County cemeteries. Currently I have over 60,000. Finally I have time to load some of them to find a grave. Hopefully it will help some one. My goal is to take 10,000 tombstone pictures a year till all the area cemeteries are complete.

Currently I am working on uploading tombstones to Westmoreland Memorial, Greensburg.

Thank you

Happy Hunting
Franny

thanks franny for going out to the cemetery to get this picture. Had I realized that his monument was on his mothers I would not have had a request "out there"...so i totaly appreciate what you did to get this stunningly beautiful picture.

Many thanks to you and Kathi Swan for helping to sort out this mess--I've never had that happen before from a cemetery list, with so many people being actually buried somewhere else.

Most cemeteries have some unmarked graves--and the percentage increases for poor working people, such as coal miners or steel mill workers and their families...

RE: cemetery pix
Yes I do have some in Westmoreland.

Tell you a secret. I send out an SOS to those who have requests in the cemeteries that I have pix. Then, I upload pix to Google + sites.
I ask the submitter to update me and send them an invite to the album. The album has to be smaller than 1000. Bill wb-wm@comcast.net

Franny,
Like you I am a shooter of grave pictures. But I dont add the memorials myself. Using google+ I send an invite to the album for others to enter. I have about 200 thousand pix in 250 cemeteries. I can send you a list of the ones I have on file if you have an interest. I was just reviewing St. Clair and see that you have done a great job. Bill wb-wm@comcast.net

Clara Yahn 84410428
Hi Franny, WOW, cold case reopened thanks to one of your great memorials. I am 90% sure your photo of Clara Yahn is my 3rd great grandmother. I am going to order the death cert to verify it 100%. If it is her would you consider transferring it to me. I am also interested in the graves in or around that plot i.e. L.C. Yahn, dont know exact name. Her first husband, William KROACK, that would be an unbelieable find for me, and her daughter Ida Clara FOX, I believe at death, she married at least 4 times and I have spent 6 years trying to find where she died. I believe near Stanton Penn in the early 1960s. She was married to DODDS, REED, HABECK, and FOX I think according to her daughters obit in 1952. I appreciate your wonderful contributions to find a grave, this could be a huge piece of my ancestry. My emial address is celiasen100@comcast.net. Have a great day. Thanks

Thomas Smith Shaw
I don't know anything about a military record for him. Next time you are there, maybe you can check out who is next to Mary Emma (Adair) Shaw.
Thanks so much for trying to help.
