Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been seriously involved with genealogy for 30+ years. I've been an active participant in and contributor to the Alford American Family Association since its founding in 1987. I have been working on an update and revision of The Descendants of James Cole of Plymouth for even longer.

I give permission to anyone to use, for any non-profit purpose, any gravestone photograph I post.

RE: Gravestone Photo Permission
Hi Pamela,

Thank you so much for asking permission to use my photo! More often than not, other users just take the photo without permission or attribution.

Yes, you may use my photo for the stated purpose. Please attribute it to "Tim Olsen."

By the way, the reason the photo of the marker isn't clearer is because the marker itself has deteriorated since it was first installed. The Garden of Mercy interments are three coffins deep, and the markers are usually not very durable.

Best Regards, Tim

Hi Pamela, great to hear from you, you are more than welcome to use the headstone photo of Leonard Alford which I took at the National Cemetery of the Pacific in Hawaii. Good luck with your project. All the best, Jeff.

RE: Thanks!
You are welcome. Next time I return to Mt Zion, I will get a better quality photo of the entire stone. One needs to be there in the later afternoon for that, and I had gone too early in the day before.

RE: Gravestone Photo Permission
Yes you may and thank you for asking. I find my photos and info all over the Internet. It has taught me a lesson too. Would you like me to transfer this memorial to you?

RE: Gravestone Photo Permission
Good morning! You are more than welcome to use the photo of Clara Halford's memorial. If you need me to send you the original file, I would be happy to do so. I would need your direct email to send it. PS. Loved the family website.

RE: Edit Declines for Folts
Please check your messages from March, we corresponded about why I do not link with memorials from the Old Burial Ground.
Thank you Ingrid .
