|I am an avid genealogist and local historian. I became a member of findagrave in order to ensure that the burial sites of my family members are appropriately recorded. Through this process, I will be happy to photograph the tombstone or grave of your family member. |
Although findagrave's main objective is to be a grave registration site, I think we all need to remember that any time the name or information of a decedent is registered in an unofficial (non government related) capacity, it is a tribute to that person to honor their memory. I am not a member of findagrave for any social status or to have impressive findagrave stats as I have encountered some individuals who do which I feel is disrespectful. For those of you who are contributors to this site in order to honor the deceased, I commend you for all of your efforts.

I see you are already friends with Tawnya Gray and HCBar. Tawnya trained me. She has turned this project over to me to continue this work.

Did you mean to enter the photo twice on this memorial.I see one is darker than the other, but other than that, no difference. Horry County has just finished inventorying this cemetery for historic registration. I see from your profile you are an avid genealogist. Wish you were here in Myrtle Beach. We could use some help with inventory. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with. If you have a question about whether a cemetery in Horry County has been inventoried I can help with that answer.

Sorry, it was Harleigh cemetery in Camden, NJ, Zenobia McCord. Hopefully we will find her without a location, but it's a huge cemetery.
if at all possible, can you ask Harleigh's office for a location? It's in great shape, but the office would not give my husband info because his is not a "family member". I understand the privacy act, but it makes it difficult when the graveyard is so huge.

Steven, in the Evergreen Cemetery in Crescent City, there is a Willie Brown, Sr. (58162669). Also on my facebook's Putnam County Florida Genealogical Society page, Ann Huffman posted some information which seems to suggest that Willie & William might be the same person. What do you think?

Jerry is buried in Eden cemetery , also my dad Elbert, with my Mother Barbara is in Eden cemetery , my grandfather Elbert is in Seville cemetery not Harris cemetery he is buried with Susie bennett in Seville , his father is James that's in Harris cemetery
If that makes since
I am not aware of any twins in the Osborne or Elwell families and unfortunately do not know of any photos that may be around for their families from that long ago.
As for the burial location of William Osborne, a death record I found for him gives the cemetery as "Philantrophic" but did not indicate where this was. I assume the cemetery was not by choice but was due to his cause of death and/or the inability of the family to afford a cemetery plot.

Yes I am related to you through Vincent Elwell. My mother is Mary Elizabeth, daughter of Vincent Elwell, son of Denis Elwell and Mary Sweeney.
Unfortunately I do not have any photos of Deborah. The oldest one I have is of Denis Elwell-Mary Sweeney and their family from about 1900.
I have my portion of the family posted to Ancestry. Have also found other possible siblings of Deborah Osborne but have no confirmation of them: William, George, John, Kate, Edward listed in 1870 US census in Philadelphia with Catherine Osborne.
